No tow package for the Base has been known for a long time.

That said;
if you are buying a Base thinking that you won't have to wrench in exactly what you prefer, the Big Bend is your answer.

Big Bend is $4,900 more with exact same options. Nah I'll do an aftermarket route

Same! That would make a 2.3L Sasquatch cost just a tad more than a basic 2.7l non-squatch. Thats my debate right now!

I thought I was set on a 2.3 auto, but if B&P is indeed correct, it's hard to not go with the 2.7 for only $300 more.

Seriously, there is a lot of money to be made in giving the helpless a perfect solution.
Ford needs to maximize profits on these people to keep a wrenchable (word???) Bronco for the rest of us.

Roached out base 4dr, toss on $900 in tires for 32s.... Hmmmm.

Throw on red paint for $295 and probably the best value as far as resale. Nice.

Be sure to check their math if you're adding the sasquatch package. My options total is $795 higher than the list of options added together. The trailer "hitch" is no big deal... it's an 8" long piece of metal with 4 bolts. Wiring is fairly straightforward too but it is annoying they don't offer it on the base since it probably has the best towing wheels/tires.

my 2 options!

2.7L few small options- 32,335
Tires and Wheels (17s and 33s)- 2300
Lift- $700
= $35,335 (best case)

2.3L Squatch
= $36,250

So much is in the squatch besides wheels and tires.......better suspension, 4.7 gears, bigger fenders, etc

I really want the 2.7l but hard to justify not getting a 2.3L and having everything done for me plus some. Plus id still have room in my budget for new bumpers (when they come out) and eventually the wheels/rim of my choice.

The people getting screwed are the ones who wanted the manual base 4dr, like me haha
I hope it's a mistake, since they did confirm auto was NOT standard and even removed the picture with the(7sp on 2 door)
