Base Bronco Tint?

I have a ‘22 base. I’m looking to tint and assumed from factory it had zero tint as some have stated. But, looking more closely at the windows mine seem slightly darker than the windshield and the windows have the ford info printed that says “TRANSP. 70% MIN.”

Are these tinted at all from the factory?

Very slight tint from the factory. As noted 70%. It's basically clear - same as windshields.

Still a fishbowl…I did 15% all around and 50% on the windshield. Definitely dark but it’s great for aesthetics, privacy, interior heat and wear reduction but choose your tint shop carefully.

I agree. If Bronco tops were not so fragile and hit or miss on quality, I wouldn’t mind swapping the glass out of my Big Bend top to get the Base look. Fits the design better.

This is 40%, first vehicle I ever had tinted.

I did 40 on the front windows and 20 on the back. Looks about right to me. I would recommend ceramic tint, or at .east tintthat blocks uv well to help preserve your seats. No pics on the tablet.

Yeah GA is the same limit and I wanted to get it close to 32. I was going to use 35, but if the base glass is already 70%, I may need to use 40 to keep it legal.

Anyone use the DIY Avery Nano NR Ceramic? Looks incredibly easy but in the past I have let a shop install 3M

The tint shop will know how dark can they go while still being legal, just let them figure that one out. I honestly don't see the benefit of having ceramic tint installed, I had both my wife's Bronco and my Tesla tinted the same day and chose the cheaper option for both. I compared the tint options and all have the same UV blocking strength and both are lifetime warrantied so why spend the extra money.
I tried DIY tint once on my Wrangler and I hated it, my skills are not there. Ended up getting it professionally tinted and never looked back.
