  1. Removing Lux Carpet/Replacing with Armorlite?

I have had the Armorlite floor for a couple of years now. I did it with KilMat underneath in a 2-door, with no issues with reassembly--just some time to put all the seats back in, etc. No big issues, took about a day with rolling down all the KilMat. It does leave the cargo area and the...
  2. Ford Bull bar ?

This is the factory "Safari Bar" on my '21 with the modular bumper (you can ignore the light mount...).
  3. De-Carpetted my 21 BigBend

Have done the Armorlite install on a base, so very similar. It isn't to bad, but I don't want to do it again. If you are thinking of Killmat/Dynamite or similar, do itbefore the Armorlite. As noted above, all the seats, trim, seatbelts, etc, must come out first.
  4. New tires on Sasquatch Options

I bought MT Baja Boss A/Ts last fall, and after driving on them through a somewhat harsh winter, I would say that they are much better on snow/ice than the factory Goodyears and I would recommend them. Fairly quiet on the road for as aggressive as they are, lots of tread depth. I did lose about...
  5. Any floor mats you like better than WeatherTech?

Of the sets I have had, I would rate them this way: #1: Armorlite--this is the stuff, no mat, covers up past the console on the transmission tunnel, fits the back seat area great. #2: Weathertech -- better coverage than the Ford mats, stayed in place well (I did not have the cargo mat-2Door-So I...
  6. New! Hothead Headliner for the Bestop Sunrider® – ORDER Now! 🚀

Had a calmer day during my morning commute, so I can say that I measured the same noise level with the Sunrider/HotHeads Liner that I did with my hard top panels in place, with the HotHeads liners in those (80dB on my Android sound level app--YMMV), the Sunrider on its own was 83 dB, so twice as...
  7. New! Hothead Headliner for the Bestop Sunrider® – ORDER Now! 🚀

Just installed mine. Installation was pretty easy, followed the instructional video, and the process only took about 30 minutes. I used some adhesion promoter after cleaning the areas where the velcro goes, just as insurance. The only trick is making sure the whole thing is centered up. 1...
  8. 3W Floor Mats Giveaway | What maintenance have you done for your Bronco this month?

    1. Tire Pressure: Yep, we have been having (like most of the country) a serious cold snap, so the pressure dropped. 2. Washer fluid: Winter weather means lots of slush kicked up on the windshield (and back window) 3. Wiper blades: Winter chews them up too. 4. Salt stains on door sills: Not worth...
  9. Bronco spare tire cover recommendations?

I used TireCovers.com, the cover was not creased, they also come in many sizes, so you can find the right one.
  10. Show me your 3D printed accessories. 3D Prints for Bronco Enthusiasts.

Made this ring to restrain the spare tire cover--it would pull out past the camera on the highway or other times with wind from the right direction/speed. Uses a 5mm bolt with a nut captured in the slot you can see on the back. These are two different materials--didn't the look on the carbon...
  11. Fun AI Images of Your Bronco - Try This and Post Yours!

Kind of impressed, it even got the lights right, and I loaded two images to get a side and front view. The Sunrider came out well too.
  12. Recall: Rear Shock Absorber External Reservoir Corrosion (Safety Recall 25S01 - January 21, 2025)

This only begs the question of why they felt the coarse was good enough for 2021, and why did they change? I realize that no-one here probably has the right answer, but it's kind of a question that bugs me.
  13. Installed KC Day Lighters on my '22.

Ford Bronco Front Triple Light Mount I'm only using the outside mounting holes, obviously. You do have to take the bumper off to mount it, it uses the bolts for the bull bar and you can't get to the back ones without removing the bumper.
  14. Recall: Rear Shock Absorber External Reservoir Corrosion (Safety Recall 25S01 - January 21, 2025)

That would go with what the tech said. Any idea why the change? Doesn't make much sense to me.
  15. Recall: Rear Shock Absorber External Reservoir Corrosion (Safety Recall 25S01 - January 21, 2025)

Mine came in right away. Apparently there is a top-hat bracket that was backordered for a bit, and the nuts included with my shocks were incorrect, so they had to find those. My Bronco was in the shop 11 days.
  16. Installed KC Day Lighters on my '22.

I have some smiley face covers for these. Mine came from ExtremeTerrain. The covers fit Daylighters and the 6" Slimlites. Link: KC HiLiTES Bronco 6-Inch Daylighter/Slimlite Cover; Black and White 5200 - Free Shipping
  17. Recall: Rear Shock Absorber External Reservoir Corrosion (Safety Recall 25S01 - January 21, 2025)

Mine were 4 winters in the Midwest, so, salt everywhere. Be careful, the words used by the service manager were something about the reservoir "exploding" off the shock--it was still under pressure.
  18. Recall: Rear Shock Absorber External Reservoir Corrosion (Safety Recall 25S01 - January 21, 2025)

Took my Bronco in for the recall yesterday. Took these pictures about a week ago, but yesterday, when they took the wheel off, the driver's side shock reservoir blew off. I wasn't standing there, so I don't know what all happened, but I did not think it was that bad from my pictures last week...
  19. My new Armadillo Hardtop on 2-Door Bronco Build

Any provision for keeping the rear wiper? I see a wiring harness for the defroster, but I end up using the rear wiper a fair bit, so I would like to keep it if possible. I may have missed something, but I did not see it on their website.
  20. 2-Door Side Steps??

Go Rhino E-Steps. They use a motor on each end of the step, not one motor and an idler like the AMP steps. They are also a bit cheaper. The AMPs were one length, installer needed to cut the 2-door steps, but the Go Rhino E-Steps come at the proper length. I think they are a better product, but...
