Looking for running boards that will attach to factory rail. Something that does not stick out, non-SAS.
Nothing powered or that hang low.
Want full length, sturdy.
I know this has been asked and beat to death, but unable to find what I am looking for.

I purchased some GOAT Fab rock sliders/running boards a while back. GOAT Fab Sliders/Steps

I haven't been home to install them, but from what I've read they are extremely well made.

Not sure about Archetype Racing anymore but they had a nice offering.

I have the GOAT step sliders on my badlands. They are high quality and very sturdy. Easy to install as there are only a few bolts but they are heavy so you’ll need a second set of hands to help out. I went with these because they sit high compared to many of the other options but still help people getting in/out. You could also do the GOAT rock sliders with top plate, they will stick out less and still be a step, albeit on an angle. These are definitely sturdy and well built but wouldn’t consider them “budget” if that’s what you are looking for.

I had Archetype board ordered for 6 months and did not receive them, looks like they went out of business. I just installed IAG full length board last week, looks good, had not had a chance to use them yet.

I know you said not powered, but I believe the RSE are perfect. The stick out as far as the non-SAS flares and tires, provides not only the drop-down steps that retracts, but also the top of the "rail" is like 4 inches, so no need to step on your rocker panels at all. No cutting wires, all plug and play and just a small wire to the battery. When retracted its the same level as the factory rail minus no steps mounted.

I had ZroadZ slider steps on my 2 dr. Easy install and solid feeling. They sell them for 4 door as well.

Mabett has raptor style running boards for 2 door and 4 door. I have been running them for a year and still love them!
Those look nice, very similar to the Ford ones. The only thing that makes me leery is that I've got the AR magnums and when I wash the top I basically sidestep down the running board. I've almost walked off the edges a few times. If I put my foot on one of the three "ramps" on the Ford/Mabett boards I'd probably slip off.

I also vote for RSE (Rockslide Engineering). They help you get into your RIG, do not hang down, and are actual rocksliders. The sensors are on the doors, so you do not lose your port. Love mines.

Below a side shot, dirty, but hehe that's what the Bronco is for!

I purchased the IAG Full length runningboards and I’m happy with them. they attach easy and are just as easy to takeoff when going off road. Two bolts per side

I have the IAG 4-door running boards installed. I was one of the first purchasers in 2022. Started to rust earlier this year. They replaced it (known issue with powder coating that has been fixed) and covered shipping both directions. Great company to deal with, and IMO it is a very solid product.

I am curious, how much of the rear (wider) portion sticks out further than the side of the rear tire? These are starting to grow on me (because of your picture), I just wish they didn't have that hip-look on the rear part.

I too wish they did not stick out as much as they do, but they make it easier for the rear seat passengers to enter.

The light is not great in my garage currently but the photo here should help to show you how much further it sticks out then the tires.
My bronco is a bad lens without the Sasquatch package.

Hope this helps.
