Yes change them all
consensus is the kick panel speakers are the least beneficial to replace
ive done all the front and rear pods, much better
next weekend i’m also going to try the kick panels to see if any improvement
i just compared the 6.5 kicker with OEM and they aren’t better. Actually they are worse, so I put the OEM kick panel speaker back. Searching for an alt or live with it.

I have the B&O, so maybe that’s the difference. They are tuned for this speaker? There has to be something better.

I have the b&o as well
I'm not an audio expert by any means but yeah I think the DSP and the 6" are tuned well

Which Hetz speaker did you order, I think I might try that next. The hertz K 170
Sounded the best on Crutchfield but I don’t think that will work. There’s a couple of different ones on Amazon, the uno and cento. I want to be sure I struck out before putting everything back together. I’m driving my 2nd car right now while I sort the speakers out.

I ended up ordering these. Will report back after comparing to OEM.

This is getting expense. Ordered 4” Hertz later in the day, even though I already installed the Kicker CS in the rears and modified the other pair for front install, so I can’t return any.
Trial and error I guess. I think the hertz might be better. I’ll wait to see how it turns out, before ripping out the rears.

Did you have to add an amp or anything? Or did you just swap speakers? I’m highly considering changing the rear pods to get better/more sound from the rear but not sure what all it entails..

We both have B&O. I don’t think he swapped the amp, and I didn’t either. Just doing speakers for now. Dealer friend stated that doing more, voids warranty. The rear change out is the easiest. Probably best to go with new pods and 6.5 with FORscan

Gotcha, I have B&O as well and I don’t think it’s terrible but I’d like it to be crisper and not break the bank doing it.

It’s so weird, I didn’t hate it the first couple of weeks, but after it seemed so bad. I dunno.
The sub and kick panel don’t seem to be the main issue but I’m looking to replace everything but the sub and amp right now. They all seem super cheap. I feel like I’m going down a rabbit hole I was hoping to avoid.

I went budget kicker CS and not happy. I have 4 if you want them, lol

I’m nervous about that too man! But it’s tough because my car I sold for the bronco, I had a custom sound system in that was pretty loud and my Expi has the 22 speaker B&O that blows the bronco out of the water. I know it won’t be that good but I want a little better.

I’m actually a female, but whatevs. I think it’s important to live with it a little while and see what works. I have two vehicles and just doing trial and error on the sound, not driving till I’m done.

I’ll be completely honest; swapping out the speakers without adding an amp or integration solution is probably not worth the trouble. For anyone wanting some nice aftermarket parts I’d look into mti acoustics or sounds good stereo shop parts. They make some really sweet stuff. MTI makes some sweet rear speaker pods which house 6.5s as opposed to what comes stock.
