Yeah I get it, but it has that niggling fear of a dying alternator attached.I would dance in the streets.especially not having to buy the Shortcut harness

The Bronco has a built in low power shutout on the negative terminal, so... It's really spectacularly careful with it's batteries... All these symptoms of battery demise and it'll still start strong... *shrug*
*edit update*
New battery in... Start stop not working. Charged it overnight, and it's back working again, after a solid 6 plus months of being gone...
I did also find out in the research of this stuff, that these high discharge rate agm batteries ideally require a higher amp capacity on their chargers than a more old fashioned regular battery, and a deep cycle battery of this capacity needs at least a 20 amp charger.
While it was certainly fading, it seems my old battery may have been given a little extra time on a heftier charger.
*edit 2*
After putting the old battery on a better 20Amp charger, it still displayed it as being full after my regular charger had it's way with it... Meaning it really was out for the count in regards to what I needed it to do.
Happy with my Odyssey battery purchase so far.
