The MM Act was put in place in the early 70’s to protect one from not using factory replaced parts like fuel filters and spark plugs. It was never meant to protect one from making changes in the car’s computer to non specs. So the MM Act is useless here. This is false..

The burden of proof is on the individual to prove their modifications didn’t cause the issue. Because in the end the dealership will just refuse to work on your vehicle.Again, this is false!
A manufacturer can't void your vehicle warranty just because you made a modification. The burden of proof that the modification caused the failure is on them.
If you upgrade your seats they can't void your powertrain warranty.
Please stop posting incorrect information.
You can't be serious? The burden of proof is on the manufacturer who is denying the warranty claim..The burden of proof is on the individual to prove their modifications didn’t cause the issue. Because in the end the dealership will just refuse to work on your vehicle.

Dude whatever you are smoking you need to share. Cause you are making so little sense here you have to be flying with Puff the Magic Dragon over the Land Called Hanalei. The burden of proof is on the individual to prove their modifications didn’t cause the issue. In fairness the window issues are a factory feature, not a bug.Reading the reviews for the Amazon products comes up with problems with the power windows and mirrors after installing. Doesn’t seams like it’s worth it.
Actually, it would only void the warranty of a certain aspect of the vehicle, it adversely affected, and caused failure of. For example, if you altered the cooling system in such a way as to cause the engine to overheat, and it blows a head gasket, that head gasket wouldn't be under warranty then. But if you altered the rear tailgate latch, and the engine were to overheat, blowing a head gasket, the head gasket is still under warranty, because that tailgate latch, has nothing to do with the engine overheating. It has to be causational, and the automaker has to show how. To tell people that any modifications, cancel their warranty, is false information. If such were the case, we wouldn't be able to change tires, brake pads, batteries, wiper blades, or install a winch, or even seat covers, without voiding our warranty. Making such false claims helps nobody, and further spreads misinformation, so please do not do it.Altering your vehicle before the end of the is warranty will void it.
