Every time I open the driver door when the Bronco has gone into resting or sleep mode, there is an audible pop from the speaker as it wakes up. Sometimes it does it on the passenger side as well. Anyone else had this issue? 2023 Wildtrak here. I have tried leaving the negative battery terminal off for 10 minutes but that didn’t fix it. Thank you in advance!

Ditto, mine makes all kinds of popping/thunking/whirring/clicking noises as it sleeps/wakes/cools down…

I hear it also. I have two amps and upgraded speakers along with a sub so its louder. I hear the display animation sound louder also.

Going from a 99 F350 to a 22 F350, I had your exact concerns.. a lot of circuit chatter after shutting truck off.. that was new to me. It's normal, but I will add the Bronco "talks" much more frequently than the truck.

Did you guys modify the EQ or speaker settings in Forscan? I had this, among other weird digital sounds when I turned the EQ off and set my rear speakers to "speaker". I also lost the surround sound door open chime through my speakers, that noise went through my gauge cluster instead.

If your answer is yes, check Forscan for ACM codes. I had some after doing these changes in Forscan. My thinking on this is setting the rear 4" speakers to "speaker", and the ACM was expecting 4ohms, but only saw the 2ohm stock speakers (I think they're 2ohm) and the ACM was error'ing. The audible noises heard, my thought, is the ACM doing a systems check, and getting values it's not expecting. Then goes into like a "safe mode" and disables the door chime through speakers, as well as those noises are heard.

This went away after changing my rear speakers to Infinities, which are 4ohm. I no longer get these noises, I have the door chime going my speakers again and the ACM errors are gone. I could be way off, but this is my story, and maybe a starting point for some of you.

If it is the B&O, there is possibly a cure.

Haven’t touched anything on mine…have about 500 miles on it.

We should add a poll of which model is experiencing this, if possible.

I think it’s the Ford and complex electronics interaction boogie man that FMC gives us with all their products.

Wildtrack for me.

I was getting similar popping sounds from speaker after adding kicker key amp and eliminated it by pushing in auto detect button on amp. No FORSCAN changes on mine.

Yasss! This is perfect, what I needed! My Bronco is about two months old and I’ve never messed with Forscan. ☺
