That stainless steel without paint looks amazing. I wonder how the chisel will look, I may have to change my order from black to naked once the pictures come out.

Ogre - you may want to change your Chisel order to a White Bread. Chisels seem to be much further behind.

Just as a follow up to the recent discussion about the wait times…..
IMO AR is worth the wait. What I have gotten from them has been top notch and frankly the best craftsmanship of any machined accessory I have purchased.
like others have said it would be good if AR was more realistic about their turnaround times but it doesn’t really bother me. Getting their products is a luxury for me. I lived without it up until now and I can live without it till eightplug sends it to me.

Not that worried about the wait. I've never had a ball style shifter and I like the shape of the OEM so I think I'll be happier if I wait. I'm waiting for the shift lever anyway so I can do them both at the same time.

I'm about to send AR an email about this. But wondering if I can get the reverse lever raw stainless steel. Especially if I stick with a black knob. I like the contrast between the knob and the shift boot.

I'm actually a pretty big fan of that myself. Let me know what Tracy says will you?

"As it is aluminum without any coating it will oxidize, which is a cloudy look, not rust. We can do a clear coat though if you want the silver look, or we can send it raw and you can coat it down the road yourself."

I opted for the clear coat. I think it's going to look great.

Easy. Took about ten minutes and that included rounding up the tools.
I guess I was curious about how it attaches. I know the stock knob has a plastic piece that pops off on top to reveal a screw and it seems like this would have a different way of attaching.

It does. Remove the old knob. It comes with an adapter. Once you install that you just screw the knob on. Instructions are included.
