A shame that the Bronco shift knob is anchored by a bolt through the top, as Ford makes a great shift knob for the Mustang that would look great in my Bronco, but no way to secure it...

There's a way. It's getting the lockout to work right.

You may be on to something Tricky Dick. However, I don't have my Bronco yet, so I will have to wait for someone who has one to be able to figure out the lockout. Thanks for the post!

It is peculiar, I've looked and asked everywhere - no one makes a single shift knob or even a shift boot for the Bronco. What are they all so afraid of?
For aftermarket manufacturers, I think it is just the economics of investing in production for something that is only applicable to 15% of Bronco owners. It's all good though, people like us will figure out some good options.

Maybe they'll release one with an 8-ball cap, or something else, on it instead of a map of the gears which everyone already knows.

I like the concept behind it but it does need some flair.

Huh, interesting. Wonder how effective the Delrin is. I definitely found the shifter to be pretty dang cold in the winter.

Yep this is 100% the reason. And 15% now but that percent will decrease every year as the "enthusiast" already purchased the manual trans broncos so going forward less and less of the general public, especially when broncos are on dealer lots in a few years, will be buying manual trans broncos.
