Is the S&B even available for the 2.7 yet? When I was looking, it was always out of stock. I ended up getting the CVF intake and run that with the Mishimoto intercooler and charge pipes along with the Procal.
It's tough to say. I did the Procal and Mishimoto stuff at the same time and already had a Corsa airbox with a larger filter. So switching to the CVF over the Corsa wasn't as noticeable as it probably would have been from the stock airbox. The stock filter is 3.5" diameter and even the Corsa setup is over 4" and most of the intakes are much larger than that so they can flow a lot more air. If you can find an intake under $300 (look for discount codes or slightly used on FB or Ebay) then I think it's a no brainer, especially when you combine it with other mods.

Thks since now have procal and can gey S&B dry locally Im contemplatong it still.seems a bit sluggish off the line in sport mode and on highway WOT for 400 ft lb +
Still sluggish with the Procal? Mine jumps pretty good in normal mode with it, I don't use sport, it's too jumpy. I also added a GPE ported throttle body and that helped the throttle response for sure.
