I traveled up to NH and did the Gunstock MTN Off-Roadeo a few weeks ago with my brother in law and son... We stayed at the Summit resort, booking through the Off-Roadeo website.
The resort was great, basically multi-unit ski condo type buildings. We had two bedroom, a living room, kitchen etc...
Personally, I wouldn't describe the 2.7 turbos as laggy, but my bench mark is some big turbo DSM cars in the 90's and 00's.
I will say that when I swapped to the Full-Race front mount, I noticed better response from the turbos. I think it just flows so much better than the stock intercooler...
Put some wheels on my WildTrak...

to all those running 17x8.5 0 offset, did you have to do anything different for your spare? did the rear spare carrier accept the slightly different offset ok?
I'll still be running the standard SAS tires.
hello all... I picked up my 2024 WildTrak back in September and the previous owner did a bunch of mods to it.. some of which I'ms till discovering. One of the mods was a swap to marker/blinker trail sites... They're pretty cool, but I kind of prefer the standard OEM look. Unfortunately, the...
Did you need to do this? It is confusing to me that some people say that a 0 offset absolutely works with no issues, while others claim it rubs.
I could possibly understand why you might need to do this with this mud flaps given the large bracket, but wen still, it doesn't look like there was...
Took it to my friends shop and he Installed the tune on Friday afternoon.... 100% something I could have done, but he hooked up the battery tender and hit send and now I have a paper receipt with all the info in the event of some sort of warranty issue.
The tune feels great... not...
THIS 100%..... it really is about compound more than tread pattern. Years ago, my GF (now my wife) got a BMW Z3. She drove it all spring, summer, fall and then when the first winter snow storm came, she got stuck... kind of inevitable right? small, rwd car with fat tires. It was literally...
You guys arguing back and forth is exactly why I am having an ASE Certified and Ford certified shop perform the install. My friend, the shop owner just wanted me to have the software and login information on my personal pc, not his work computer... so my question was mostly about that part of...
I've seen this mentioned before, but all of the installs that I've seen... it looked like they took 5 minutes or less.. I can't imagine the battery draining during this, unless you've already got a weak battery.
Oh... agree 100% It is super simple and I'm certain I could do it myself. I just wanted to be able to have paper work for the install in case there's ever a warranty issue with Ford and he didn't want to simply give me a receipt for something he didn't even witness or help with.
I'm not necessarily asking about the poke... I understand that. I'm more concerned with the clearance when you turn the front wheels. If it sticks out more, then it has potential for rubbing the back of the wheels arch where a mud flap would be.
