Just curious if anyone’s pulling a horse trailer with their Bronco? If so, any pictures or details on your horse trailer (such as weight) would be appreciated.

In my mind I’m telling myself the Bronco’s towing capacity is too low, but maybe I’m wrong…

Can be done. Would recommend caution tho as my rope horse plus tack and aluminum trailer puts me closer to max rating than I like. And remember, the Raptor package has beefier towing than non.

Didn’t get any pics, but I borrowed a buddy’s horse trailer to haul some straw around (created a target wall for archery).

It was 2400 lbs empty. Don’t know how much the straw weighed but it towed fine.

The trailers are usually aluminum and definitely are light enough for the Bronco to tow. It’s the horses themselves that’ll be the limiting factor. Chances are you’ll only be able to do a single horse at a time, and it’ll have to be a smaller end of the spectrum. No 16-18 hand monsters.

That’s what pickups are for.

Thanks very much - Ya, it'd only be one horse for sure. I wasn't sure how light these trailers are empty to begin with, and the horse, tack, hay, etc. are all factors going into the calculation.

Appreciate it!

hi ! Have you looked into Euro trailers ? Liked Boeckman, equitrak, chevalier liberte etc? They’re designed for v6 suv. I have a 2.7L with the brake control towing package on Bronco 2022 and am also in the market. :)

Thanks for the suggestion. I actually ended up selling my Bronco recently and purchased a truck instead with a much higher towing/hauling capacity.
