I recently purchased a 2025 Badlands Sasquatch primarily for slow speed offroad use on the East coast. My first modification is going to be a bumper/winch. Free time is hard to come by so I want to be efficient and make any other modifications "while I am in there" that make sense. So far the only other item I am installing at the same time is the JKS max tire clearance kit.

Are there any other modifications that are recommended to do while swapping out the bumper? My current list of planned mods in roughly the install order are:

Rock sliders
More skids (hope to find HDPE options)
Coilovers/UCAs
Rear arms/adjustable trackbar/relocation bracket
Not-so-heavy wheels/37" tires

TIA

Since you're doing a winch, you'll probably want to install frame horn reinforcements. Several people on the forum have bent the frame horns while winching hard.

These are the ones I used. However, the are several companies that make them with varying designs.

Oh my! Thanks for sharing this info. I was not aware of this and certainly want to look into it as I am pretty rough and use my winches frequently for tree work/etc.

Since your adding a winch, and have Everglades wheels, you may want to add a snorkel. 😬

Agree with frame horns

If you are gonna do an intercooler that’s the time to do it as well, you will be 75% there
