I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess the speed increases your odds of winding up on the coroner's table in this case.

You don't hear about many people ending up with toe tags when their wheel gently rolls off at low speed.

Does anyone know if checking lug torque is part of a PDI?

Do you know how a bronco handles over 130?

Let me know how it goes, Physics master.
Physics matter.

(But
metaphysics are another 'matter' entirely.)

I did drive at the 102 mph max, flat-out, for about 25 or 30 miles on Utah 36 from Vernon up to near Stockton, slowing for some settled areas and minor turns. It's good, flat, straight-as-an-arrow two lane, no traffic that day.
My BL/4DR/2.7/Sas handled it beautifully: smooth, no lane drift, steady speed, and all gauges stayed in normal range. And yeah, if I could get it up to 125 for a spell on the Salt Flates, I probably would. Last time I was there it was too soft (recoveries are expensive there), even with a BadSquatch didn't want to take a chance.

I think that it can be done with FORSCAN, but I am going to have to test it out first, but no reason that it won't work.
Where would be a good place to look? I ran across this post a while back but it was for the Transit. Might be in a similar place, at least?

Good luck on your high speed quest ,I would like to know how it rode after 100.
With the SAS, it's solid, predictable, uneventful, and had a lot more power and gear on tap at 107. Trans and oil temps got higher than I normally see but well within an acceptable range. I've driven cars that felt less responsive and stable at those speeds. I'd say 120 is certainly achievable, both power and final drive wise as well as stability goes...but drag is a cubic function and potential Hopf bifurcations can't be entirely predicted that far ahead of tested speeds. I doubt any kind of shimmy would be an issue within the possible speeds of a stock Bronco unless you've got loose components thrown in the mix or a particular poor paved surface. I'd probably consider re-installing my sway bar if I were going over 120 though.

Drive however you like when the circumstance is right.
Just make sure you got the proper tires. These big tires aren't rated to go fast.

No one has cracked the encryption yet for a ECU tune so it can’t be done yet
They have, it’s that they can’t sell the tune or they will get the wraith of the EPA or CARB with millions of dollars in fines. You’ll have to go to Canada Ahhhh to get your Bronco tuned

Planning for the California Baja races this fall down in Mexico.
Hitting a Saguaro cactus at 101 is bad enough now you want to simply jump between the tops of sand dunes? This ain't the General Lee, Bubba.

But I hear ya, need to spin the tires at 150 to travel lateral 80 among the arroyos

Or just drive your Bronco in Canada where it will top out at about 163 (Km/hr), eh.

HMM brief acceleration to 110 or 120 just to get out of someone's way? Has happened to me a couple of times. I maxed out the Bronco just once, to get out of fast moving traffic. I could have used a bit more. People cruise at 80-85 on the interstate here in FL. That means in the fast lane they are doing over 90. Big, huge trucks too with lift kits cruising at 90. It's the norm.

Without a major increase in power you will likely be drag limited to about 120-ish. Aerodynamics are going to kick it's ass and it will take big power to overcome that. With a tune I could see 120 being possible.

there's a gov? Maybe its based on the trim level since the only tires rated S (above 108) are on the base. Mine is base, its been to 112 so i may not have it.
