Physics matter.Do you know how a bronco handles over 130?
Let me know how it goes, Physics master.
Where would be a good place to look? I ran across this post a while back but it was for the Transit. Might be in a similar place, at least?I think that it can be done with FORSCAN, but I am going to have to test it out first, but no reason that it won't work.
With the SAS, it's solid, predictable, uneventful, and had a lot more power and gear on tap at 107. Trans and oil temps got higher than I normally see but well within an acceptable range. I've driven cars that felt less responsive and stable at those speeds. I'd say 120 is certainly achievable, both power and final drive wise as well as stability goes...but drag is a cubic function and potential Hopf bifurcations can't be entirely predicted that far ahead of tested speeds. I doubt any kind of shimmy would be an issue within the possible speeds of a stock Bronco unless you've got loose components thrown in the mix or a particular poor paved surface. I'd probably consider re-installing my sway bar if I were going over 120 though.Good luck on your high speed quest ,I would like to know how it rode after 100.
That post must have really rattled you, poor guyI'm gonna go out on a limb and guess the speed increases your odds of winding up on the coroner's table in this case.
You don't hear about many people ending up with toe tags when their wheel gently rolls off at low speed.
Does anyone know if checking lug torque is part of a PDI?
They have, it’s that they can’t sell the tune or they will get the wraith of the EPA or CARB with millions of dollars in fines. You’ll have to go to Canada Ahhhh to get your Bronco tunedNo one has cracked the encryption yet for a ECU tune so it can’t be done yet
Hitting a Saguaro cactus at 101 is bad enough now you want to simply jump between the tops of sand dunes? This ain't the General Lee, Bubba.Planning for the California Baja races this fall down in Mexico.
Or just drive your Bronco in Canada where it will top out at about 163 (Km/hr), eh.They have, it’s that they can’t sell the tune or they will get the wraith of the EPA or CARB with millions of dollars in fines. You’ll have to go to Canada Ahhhh to get your Bronco tuned
If you do it Aaron, I want to be there to watch it! (Graham)Has anyone found a way to remove the governed limitation of 102mph through ForScan?
