Ambient lighting

Same thing for me, they aren't very bright anyway, so even when they are on, I can barely tell.
I was not expecting them anyway, so no biggie for me. If I notice, I turn em on, next time I look, they are off. Headlights are always on auto. I wonder if it has anything to do with the mystery "Bronco Saved" pop up that shows now and then.

Mine has done it about 4 times, same problem and symptoms. I turn it back on and it’s good for a few days to a couple weeks. I asked about it when I had the leaking front pinion seal replaced 3 weeks ago and they said they reset everything? It has been fine since but we’ll see

Yes, same random off ambient lighting problem although no problems with Android Auto. That seems to be a common theme in this thread, people with AA. Anyone have this issue with Carplay?

Hmmm. I have not had this happen to me at all. I also have not had issues with AA. It always start up, and I run it wirelessly.

Are people who are having issues, are your systems updating with the Ford updates?

I have my headlights in Auto. I also use CarPlay. It just randomly resets to off. I reset this morning. I’ll try to be aware when and if it resets to off.

Same here I use carplay and have the same issue. the ambient lights turn off randomly. It has happened multiple times now.

Has anybody came up with a solution to this yet? It's not a huge deal, but with less daylight these days, it would be nice for the ambient lighting to stay on. lol.

My ambient lighting resets to Off every time. Hopefully Ford is watching and will fix it with am OTA update. I have a 22 BD w/ mid pkg.

I have the same issue.
Badlands Lux package + Auto Lamp headlights + auto updates.

It definitely doesn't recall or auto save after an update, but it is hard to tell if this is being turned off by that or the Auto Lamps feature.

Older thread, but wanted to add my ambient lighting (23 OBX/Lux) turns itself off quite frequently. I don’t use Apple nor Android car play and generally have headlights in auto mode. Don’t do a ton of night driving, but every time I notice them being off and have to go into settings and turn them back on again…no idea why this is happening.

After a few hundred signatures I will send to Ford. It is clear based on my previous post the problem of ambient lighting randomly turning itself off impacts likely tens of thousands or more 2021+ Ford Broncos. Ford service centers claim to have no solution. Ford won't take us seriously until we show how widespread of a problem this is. Please take the time to sign and forward to Ford Bronco owners having the same issue! Thanks!
