Sorry I haven't gotten back to you--real life's been intruding big-time.

Can't help you much, I'm afraid. The power cable entered the cargo compartment through that rear grommet (mentioned above), just behind the B-pillar, close to the threshold, and disappeared under the flooring. It next showed up at (through) the removable (accessible) panel on the top of the interior housing of the wheel well, where he fed it to my on/off (remote) switch, and the compressor itself.

I do remember he pulled off interior panel(s?) at the forward side of the wheel well housing, so I conclude: from the grommet, underneath the flooring (not the mud mat!) of the rear seat, to the wheel well, under the wheel well's interior housing (but above the wheel well itself, natch) to the top of the the wheel well housing. I imagine this has to be done before the molle "Refuge" cage is attached to the (rear) hardtop bolts.

Email the ThorsLightning guys. They're very accessible. Hope that helps.
No worries! Thank you!

The Mishimoto CAI will not fit with the KR offroad underhood mount. It will work with the Roush CAI, but that is because it still uses the stock airbox.

I know this because I just replaced my Roush CAI with the Mishimoto CAI (along with their charge pipes and a whipple intercooler) and my underhood KR offroad twin ARB compressor mount would not work. The install video from Panda Motorworks shows the fitment issues at minute 3:15:

I relocated the compressor to a molle panel in my cargo area.

With that said, the KR offroad mount was great. Easy to install and looked great.
We just redesigned the bracket a bit. It should work now with some more aftermarket intakes. It probably won't work with the Mishimoto one still because that box REALLY sticks out. The other boxes had issues with the mounting point gettnig in the way. So on the new compressor brackets (the ones coming out later this year, figure November/December) should fit better.

You can see the new notched area to allow for a lot of aftermarket intakes to mount, since they seem to use larger plastic pieces that stick out from the air boxes.

KIND OF.

So they have a lot more mounting bolts on the back of theirs then ARB (ARB has 8 and the UDA have 12).

Some of the mounting points on the UDA are the same as on the AIR, and some are not.

So if you have a bracket that only has 4 holes (for an ARB), you'll only have 3 that match up with UDA. That's how our current KR Off-Road brackets are. 3 mounting points are used instead of 4. And that is MORE then sufficient.

It also depends on the flexibility of the bracket. Our bracket was designed with extra mounting holes, to give people the opportunity to mount different compressors in different ways. Other mounts may not be as flexible. So it really comes down to the actual mount itself.

With our mount, you can mount an ARB Single, Twin or a UDA without issues. I can tell you that.

We sell the UDA compressors here (and they are currently 10% off): https://www.4x4truckleds.com/uda-egoi-permanent-on-board-dual-motor-air-compressor-system-6-1cfm/
I know your original post is a year old but i have a few questions about the UDA Egoi on-board dual motor compressor that you no longer sell! Why did you discontinue it? Was it a QC issue? Do you still stand by your statement that it’s as good as the ARB unit? Thanks!

So I never had one fail. We stopped selling them because of an active lawsuit at the time from ARB and the knock-offs. ARB filed suit against UDA, Rough Country and some others. So we decided to drop the product line becauseo f that. We were told by UDA they were not infinging on anything but then ARB's lawyers contacted us to let us aware of the active suit (we had nothing to do with it though).

We also didn't like that after some use the sticker kept falling off. They did send us new stickers to make up for it for our customers AND some tire deflators, but still, we didn't like the stickers falling off after use. We didn't learn about that until months later.

The compressors worked though, but still, for my $$ ARB was better. We liked having a compressor that was a bit cheaper BUT we didn't realize there were some issues with the patents/etc... going on which we were led to believe were NOT an issue (turns out as I said it WAS an issue).

If you look at UDA's website they no longer have their compressor listed anymore telling me that we were lied to about them not violating any patent infringements and ARB won their case (although In ever saw the official ruling and never asked)

I just checked Rough Countrys website also and the air compressor they had, which looked justl like the ARB one, is also gone.

Sooo yeah... we were lied to by UDA (Overland Vehicle Systems) when we questioned the ARB patent and if their compressor was violating their patent.

At the end of the day during our test it kept up with the ARB. But in the long run I can't say if it does/will last. They no longer sell them either. It's a chinese knock-off of the ARB at a fraction of the price. If you have one i'm sure you'll get a lot of use out of it. The sticker may fall off or the button may break but otherwise it should survive just fine since it's not installed OUTSIDE the vehicle but is protected in the engnie bay (as it's mounted up high)

Thank you for that great response! You guys are one of my favorite Bronco aftermarket retailers! Your customer service is head and shoulders above most of your competitors! Not only do you sell mainstream product, but you guys sell unique accessories (like wiring harnesses) that most of us didn’t know we needed…..until we needed it! Thanks for supporting the Bronco community since the very beginning!
