There is a old playbook out there. 1) At some point a company finds it financially impossible to deliver against commitments. 2) Rather than pouring money in directly to save it, owners set up a new company and put their savings and/or cash into it. 3) New company then purchases key assets of the troubled firm. The price will be realistic, not pennies. 4) Money from sale of assets supports troubled company, could maybe still save it even. 5) But...If troubled company does go bankrupt, new company already set up, with assets. New Company moves forward with same products/name and even employees and suppliers in place. What steps are already done here?
