Wow. So the shoe has dropped more like an Anvil. ADV has decided to drag everyone down with them. Now all involved are in a full-on he said she said battle with somewhere a truth is told.

Meanwhile, people who spent their money is now left with their CC companies trying to figure to take a loss or get the money. This is now a full-on gaat rope, or more a Sh*** Show.

My thought in this is if APG was involved from the beginning, how was it that ADV was able to do refunds? Did the well run dry as many on B6g stated?

I highly doubt that credit card companies can/will go back this many months. While I’m not certain, I think anything longer than a 90 day challenge on an account is tough sledding. I haven’t read my T&C is a few moons, but trying to get month back 26 months later seems like a pipe dream.

So it looks like the "tops were going to be ready but there were QC issues and we will only deliver the best product!" was all bullshit. What was produced was literally junk.

And the famous “The delay is due to waiting on rubber. Once we have these darn pieces of rubber, then we’ll be in final assembly”. People telling lies like that deserve a special corner in hell.

Here’s what happened. Two small companies that don’t make anything outside of fiberglass fenders, created a hardtop rendering and got 1k+ people to shell out 7k each. They collected millions and spent it.

It’s literally a scene out of Dumb & Dumber.

And on the backside of that contract is the logo for the Rooster Cafe.

APG actually does work with OEMs too so they’ve made a good name for themselves in the industry

Seems however that APG would be required to refund ADV if they can't produce the tops as manufacturer or would they not be culpable in all this? Granted APG has never said they can't produce them, but the lawsuit seems to insinuate they are having issues in doing so. The question also begs if they we're infact separate manufacturer and distributor, why would the distributor be giving money to the manufacturer and why would the manufacturer put themselves in this situation by accepting funds for a product they don't have? What a mess; but I guess that's why we have the judicial branch of government.
