all I can say is my blood pressure went back to normal after I got my refund in the bank. I really hope that all the holdouts get their tops. Me, I'm very skeptical . I would be curious if any of the batch 1 group is still holding on like I was.

Yeah, I was waiting for a long time, but I have decided to go with the the turn off-road and already mounted some stuff on the roof, while there are no any promised updates since the beginning of May,

I was Batch 1, just cancelled and got refund. It’s too bad because the ADV people and products have been cool for me otherwise. As for alternatives, the surface finish of the TOR I read online made it sound like bed liner, SAME WITH Anderson. But I just saw a TOR in my area, pics. The in-person look is really smooth and cool, so I’ll order TOR but the first thing I’ll do is black out that awful side logo.

yeah, all photos took me away from that for a while, but when I got it it was surprisingly good.

Except for things like attics, that "extra room" in the straight back probably won't be used enough to really worry about it (IMO). Imagine how many times you've blocked the rear window when you had no choice? Probably not too many.

I'm not a fan of the slant back (I'd go square), but the "extra room" arguments always feel like "it might rain in the desert" rubber boots argument.

You can leave the glass open or rent a truck... I would just use my pickup, personally. Lots of times the Bronco's going to disappoint as a hauler even with a squareback.

I rented a truck from Home Depot and drove it to Lowes and got what I wanted. Saved 60 dollar on the delivery fee.

This has been stated since day 1 of preorders (nothing on that product page has changed in regards to wording). We have offered refunds to all customers when they have requested it. We will adjust the wording in that section now to reflect that refunds are allowed at request.

Chill. No need to get all defensive. I'm sure they were just wondering what's up with your "production" hardtop delivery window which has been 12-16 weeks going on a couple years now.

Their concerns are completely understandable.

Rally Top installed! Shipped in 2 months from order date. Way quieter on the highway. My advice, quit waiting on ADV and get a refund, buy from someone who is actually shipping product.

Sad how this thread has evolved into what tops everyone is actually getting now. No expectation from anyone of actually getting an ADV top or even an update from them.
