Don’t even tell me they’re gonna start shipping now, I’m literally placing an order tomorrow for an Armadillo top, just trying to decide if I want slant back or square back.
Went with the slantback as dang it looks good and the dogs will likely love being able to use the slant when driving with the back open.

Yeah I know, that’s fair but the bronco is the one thing that’s all me. Although I do like the perks that also come with the square back.
You must be recently married if you think anything is "all you". Just wait a year or two, when your lovely agreeable sweetheart sheds her baby teeth and grows fangs 😀

Oh no we’ve been together since 09 and married since 18. That’s how I know it’s the ONLY thing that’s all mine 😂 while she does enjoy riding in it she absolutely hates driving it.

Fair enough, now just to decide which version.
I decided on the slant back a while ago. I like the look, and I like the way the followed the lines on the roll bar of the Bronco. The reason I would consider the Square would be for some extra room for the actic shelf. But considering I have a 21 and do not have those holes, well yeap, no need to worry about it.

Plus as others have said, safari style with the slant is going to be nice.

When I go look at my bronco and follow the lines where the slant top would go it really doesn’t seem like the square back would provide that much more space though honestly. Even though it looks like it’d be a lot just looking at pics. I think that’s gonna help me be okay with the slant.

That's a good point. I have not done that, but I do understand what your saying about it. Heck, I just like the look of the slant, I always have. It's a different look, especially from the OEM hardtop. The square back will look nice as well, especially now that they changed the gull wings to match the angles, but I have always liked the slant, and I cannot wait to get mine on. :)

CD? These people are probably piled into $GME 😀
Canceling my order was the best thing ever, over 2 years waiting with dumb excuses, secrets and just lack of communication sealed the deal.

How do you run a business without knowing exactly where your product us and having an exact plan how to fix these issues. 2 years later still seems like they either don't know what's up or something is terribly wrong.

Except for things like attics, that "extra room" in the straight back probably won't be used enough to really worry about it (IMO). Imagine how many times you've blocked the rear window when you had no choice? Probably not too many.

I'm not a fan of the slant back (I'd go square), but the "extra room" arguments always feel like "it might rain in the desert" rubber boots argument.

Exactly and yeah I don’t plan on using an attic shelf. I love both. My only reason for preference of the slant is that I like the top off look, and can’t imagine removing a 1 piece hard top frequently (nor do I have a big enough garage to lift it off and store it) but the slant somewhat gives me that look. If I was a rarely take the top off or never take the top off person I’d be square back all day.

Having an attic shelf and seeing how tight the room is there, I'll be going with the square back design simply (and really only) due to that. That shelf is probably my favorite add-on, and most useful one.
Not only do you have to have room for the shelf itself, but room to maneuver your recovery straps/tools/whatever out of and onto it with the top on.
In my soft top the shelf negates being able to lower the top down to the "full down" position just due to the radius/ arc of movement needed.
If it weren't for that needed "space" to actually use the shelf, then the slant back does have a better profile. And is the only slant-back look I personally like on the Bronco. Not a big fan of the Rampage-style softies.
Their (Armadillo) stuff is super solid and looks amazing with the fit-n-finish in person.
When "one day" gets here, I'm definitely going that route.

We present to you the first ADV Modular production unit, VERY exciting! We can certainty say that we are beyond impressed and happy with the finished production unit. We are DEFINITELY giving Ford a run for their money. Production is moving along VERY quickly ever since we tested, validated, and approved the prototype for production.

Please let us know if we can answer any questions, we are happy to help!

Giving Ford "a run for their money" on hardtop quality/availability probably should have been our first Red Flag...
