This. Have YOUR attorney team write the contract. The extra hours of attorney’s fees are 100% worth it. Especially in a sh!tshow like this.ADV gave up their rights to the intellectual property in the contract.
I'm sure ADV feels as though they should be part-owners of the patent given the amount of money they spent on the product. But that's not the contract they signed.

I definitely encourage everyone to read the contract at the end of the lawsuit. At first I was feeling a bit sorry for ADV for this whole mess. But honestly after reading the contract... they just straight up signed a bad contract in my opinion and didn't take the necessary steps to protect themselves or their customers. Not defending APG or anything like that, but... yeah... the contract absolutely benefitted APG more the ADV.
