ADV - TWO SUGGESTIONS TO CREATE MORE SALES

1. Include the sound deadening free of charge for all your tops. Ford is doing that now. The cost of doing so on your part would be minimal and would make the purchase price of your top more palatable. Maybe consider doing the same with the rear defrost and rear wiper, depending on your cost.

2. Lease a warehouse in the Eastern part of the US. Since you are located on the West Coast - shipping costs will be astronomical to ship to the other parts of the country. I would suggest Pittsburgh as a location to consider - because it would open up the market in both the Eastern and Central parts of the US. Amazon considers the 'Burgh as a major distribution center and has/is/will be building several warehouses here - because of its location, lower costs, etc.

This has been covered in all the previous threads. Every 2-Door Bronco out there already has a hard top. Without volume they'd probably lose money producing these.

And the price would be nearly identical to the 4-door variant, so with all the people with soft tops balking at this, do you really think that many people who already have a hard top would pay that kind of money for another hard top?

Important to note that my list above does NOT include the wiper, wiper motors, gas struts for the rear glass, mounting hardware, etc. But if you just look at the prices for just those 4 components, you're already around $6000. And that doesn't include the installation cost for the quarter glass.

Convenient, since ADV didn't include the prices for those items either.

I will say this- my best friend sells resin to companies around the US. He told me two weeks ago that because of the short supply, they are charging 2-3 times more for the product and they are struggling to keep companies supplied. The components to make fiberglass are more expensive now and so will any product made from it.

I’m not defending or trashing their price. It’s in line with what a MIC top would cost you right now if you tried to buy one. Is it much nicer? We don’t know yet. It looks really nice in the drawings. But I want to see real world what it looks like. With all the MIC top issues, it would be nice to have other viable options until Ford figures out how to make them themselves.

We'll have to see how Patriot Fastbacks' offering turn out.

Nothing yet about it on their web site, but based on what they've been letting out via Facebook, it looks like their first offering for the Bronco will be very similar to this one that they have out for the J••p. Their price for this one is $3,881.25 , so I assume the price will be similar for the Bronco version.

We'll have to wait and see when both companies' products hit the market, and we start hearing from those who've bought them, but it looks to me like of the two, Patriot Fastbacks is going to have the much better product of the two at a lower price.

I was expecting that with a more basic product, Advanced Fiberglass Concepts would offer it at a lower price, but it looks like that is not the case.

Those are horrendous.
