I have a dual usb plug I want to mount on top of dashboard in the center tray on the panel nearest the windshield. I have found lots of videos on removing the closer top dash panel but not the front one. Anyone done it? Or know how to do it…I am a chicken playing with all these panel clips…

I’ve swrapped that entire panel over to the lux panel. You have to disassemble quite a bit to do it. Dash. A-Piller trim, roll bar trim maybe more. Trying to go from memory here.

yeah I’m installing switches above windshield so will have most of that apart already…

not really…they are really just replacing the aux mount and I have already done that installing AR mount…those screws are a bitch)…I need to under that panel the mount mounts to…but thanks!

Thanks but again it gets the rear part of the dash top off but not the front part… I guess I’ll just take the rear dash top off and see if I can figure it out…already got the sides and above windshield off for my Mickey Mouse light switch box…does not have aux switches…

This is the most complete video I've seen so far. How do you plan to power the USB? Wired direct to the battery or via an Aux switch?
