One of the best purchases I have made for my Bronco has been ExoShield film for my windshield.

short version: A film that makes your windshield 6x stronger.

$375-warranty for 2 years or 30,000 miles. Cheap insurance for piece of mind. Its not a matter of if, but when a rock will pop your windshield.

I have received 3 hard hits from rocks while on the interstate. No damage. That, in itself is worth it. Nothing more sickening than a cracked windshield on your brand new vehicle. Many Expel PPF installers also apply the ExoShield as well.

As another option-I have free glass coverage. No deductible and it doesn’t affect rates. I’d recommend that instead! Most insurances offer similar coverage

I wonder how long it will be before insurance companies catch on to how expensive this glass is and start exempting Broncos from free coverage.

I’ve had 4 Jeep wranglers and broke ~6 windshields within 3 years haha!

I don't think Jeep windshields cost even half though? I assume they don't have the cameras that have to be calibrated.

I thought it was decided it's part of the pre collision and lane keep.

Yes it does. They all do. Camera must be recalibrated after windshield replacement.
well I currently only have a 92. ha

But my base bronco there would be absolutely no use for a camera in the windshield, why would they put one there?

(pretty sure they aren’t on base )

My "base" badlands has a camera for pre collision and auto high beams. no mid or high package. all broncos have pre collision.

Yes there is a camera behind your base windshield.

badlands is a bit different than a base, no?

from what I found, only builds that have ability for /highLux package etc. have the camera.

I may definitely be wrong, Irregardless, insurance will cover it.
