If you’ve owned your Bronco for more than 5 minutes, you already know how easy it is to chip or crack a windshield 😅

I installed the @exoshield Ultra on my Bronco and filmed the full DIY process. It’s honestly way easier than I expected, and considering how much Bronco windshields cost to replace, this is a no-brainer in my opinion.

They’re finally back in stock, so if you’ve been waiting, now’s the time.

If you decide to grab one, you can use my code KILO to save a little extra.

I had mine professionally installed a week with less than 100 miles.. It took my FIL, MIL, wife and I to install the exoshield on my wife's at the 2 year mark. We most def messed it up. Theres some spots but its a sacrificial piece. We'll end up replacing it multiple times. Its time to replace mine.

Oh man! It takes time but it’s definitely very doable. I did it by myself and it’s definitely done its job protecting the windshield for me. It had bubbles for a good week but with some time in the sun they disappeared

Wow, you installed this in 54 seconds, did Billy Idol help.
He sure did! Lol I keep Billy idol in my back pocket at all times haha but in all seriousness this was an easy DIY in comparison to some other installs I’ve done on my own and definitely worth it.

I sure wish I had Billy's help when I installed my steel bumper and baja bar on this past weekend. Instead of a karate kick and a snarl, it's been 500 mg acetaminophen all week.

Did you need a heat gun? Was not able to get the sides to stick because the film kept wanting to bend back out. Maybe I had too much baby oil and needed more water....lol. Ruined the film though.

Baby oil?! Haha I’m maybe that’s why 👀 I just used soapy water and a bit of heat from a blow dryer

I have to wonder how much the film helps. Frequent damage seems like an inevitable side effect of large/flat/upright windshields. Jeep obviously deals with issues as well

Anyone that has followed the Ineos Grenadier know it also suffers from this issue. Not sure if this is applicable or not but seems like it would be. Grenadier owners seem to have issues with rock chips on the edge of the glass that quickly spread, so they have begun installing a rubber trim gasket around the outer edge to help mitigate the issue.

didn't know if this might be worth trying for the Bronco (if it has been posted already, my apologies)..

Mine has been installed a year now and I competed on the Rebelle rally. 10+ hrs a day offroad for 8 days straight. Not only that I had to drive from Texas to California to and from before and after the rally. I have had a lot of rocks hit my windshield and the worst that has happened is a bit of damage to the film but even that is hardly noticeable.

I can't see how you go without the film. I'm 40k miles, same film....lots and lots of pockmarks. No cracks. Likely need to start thinking about changing it out.
