Congrats! Didn’t realize you were in Austin. Every bit certainly helps in that brutal summer heat. I’m from there and Sunbusters had me on file, for sure. Pics?

I did 25% Xpel Ceramic Tint front 2 doors to match factory rear windows, did 50% on the windshield. It is a very noticeable difference. I can get in my Bronco on a 90 degree day and it will be the same, or cooler than outside.

If you are wanting heat reduction over light/glare reduction then this is where ceramic films really stand out. I became a believer in the difference that stuff makes when I had the cab of my latest tractor done.

I had the sides done at 50% & the front done at 80%. I did not want to go too dark as I need to be able to run it in the evening/night. The cab of a tractor can really heat up like a greenhouse, and the film really made a huge difference.

As for the bronco, it is hard to say how much of a difference as I had it tinted within a few days of owning it. I did 70% on the front in ceramic to cut heat & a little glare. It looks darker in this picture than it really is in person...

I’ve used the 3M Cyrstalline on many vehicles and on my home windows when we lived near Sacramento California for 20 years. Little known fact, Sacramento is the sunniest place on the planet for 4 months each year. I got tired of the sun every summer and one year we had 153 consecutive days with zero measurable rain.

Tell me about it! Of course we just had 2 days pushing mid to upper 90's followed by a cloudy, windy, and much colder day yesterday.

I think Ford is controlling the Weather now.

No one has failed to mention that it’s illegal to tint a front windshield. With that said, I did my front door windows and my windshield. Highly recommend the windshield. My wife loves that she doesn’t have to wear sunglasses anymore.

it’s really not so much of a tint as it blocks the sun. You can hardly tell it on there but it sure works.

It makes all the difference. I went with STEK 70% on the windshield.
