Installed Aeroskin II around 4000 miles…… it definitely directs bugs to about the top 1/2-1/3 of windshield. Had a little flutter, adjusted rubber stops under hood but could not prevent middle of hood fluttering a little bit. However, the wind noise it created was not acceptable for me. Driving over 50 miles an hour sounded like I was driving thru 100 mile an hour winds. I removed it and went with AVS version with no lip. Mainly I just want to protect front of hood from rock damage, rocks would still impact windshield with Aeroskin II, the AVS hood protector works great for that and made absolutely no wind noise or hood flutter.

Can anyone speak to the windnoise with the deflector vs. without. Is there a noticeable difference at 70MPH+?
I've not noticed any difference, and when I drive down 16 in Georgia I'm usually cruising in the mid-80s.

I installed the Aeroskin 2 a few months back, but in South Georgia the bugs are coming out in full force. At 80 MPH, the deflector lifts the bugs to the top half of the windshield.

The paint is actually thicker than that of Toyota. Watch the first two minutes of this video. A guy uses a paint meter to test the thickness and was impressed.

Here is a very good review of the paint.
Personally, having owned Toyota products before as well as numerous other manufactures (18 vehicles in total), the Bronco has the thinnest paint I’ve ever seen.
