So I got invited to take my Bronco through TFL’s Tumbleweed Ranch. The video doesn’t do it Justice. The hills are straight up! Roman was SUPER nice and even offered to let us camp at their ranch (we headed back to the mountains as we didn’t want to impose). What you see on their videos is what you get in real life, they are good people and I had fun.

I’ve been waiting for them to test a 2 door manual. How much extra weight do you figure you are carrying? Did you disconnect the sway bar? Did you use low range with the crawler gear or another combination? Do you use goat modes or select the off road features manually? Thanks for the great video.

I enjoyed it! Nice to see a similar build of what I am supposedly getting.

Super nice, I loved the comment about Bronco's only coming in 2 doors!! Roman definitely took a minute to get the joke (and I'm not sure he ever did).

2 door Badlands for the WIN!!!

TJ, did you by any chance race Swan from 94 to 99? We raced there a lot during that time. Suzuki fanboy here too! It is a shame how Suzuki has fallen. NIce video. 2Dr for the win!

Love your answer why you got a 2-door. That's why I got a 2 door too! You are awesome my man.

Hey TJ, I watched the full video yesterday. Good times! Nice rig! What was interesting to me is your comment comparing the FJ to the Bronco. I currently have an FJ, and am considering the swap to a Bronco. Although I do have kids, so it wouldn’t be a real bronco but a 4 door;) haha. Your comment spurred me on.

Probably 400lbs when counting RTT and all the gear.
Yes I disconnect sway
I tried the goat modes, but didn’t realize mud/ruts doesn’t allow 4L. So I did most of it in 4H. Lol

I’m sure this 1st gen will not be made anywhere as good as the FJ, but daily living with it is so much nicer.

Man, that’s so cool! I love the TFL guy’s videos and I think it’s great you had the opportunity to run the ranch with them! Love the eruption green and your load out.

Cheers!
