Does anyone know if the gear shade 8” round sub box accommodates the Mobridge dsp/amp in a 2dr without much fuss?

I’m not satisfied with the b&o subwoofer mounting solutions for the Mobridge in a 2dr.

Probably not, it's the cup holder which creates the issue.
I was worried that I would have issues trying to find a solution as well, but my solution was pretty simple...I just moved the parking module down a bit lower and installed the amp in it's place.
If I was to do it over, I would use the parking module mounting plate to mount the amp! (I used (2) 1" tie straps from Home Depot to mount mine.
Step 1: Locate Parking Module

Step 2: Mount Amp and re-locate Parking Module

Step 3: Final position and plug the port on the sub enclosure and mount sub with a trim ring.

thanks. I tried this and it’s too floppy and the wiring runs against sharp edges.

modifying the parking module takes it further away, and mine doesn’t have much extra wiring to put it in the same spot you did.

I removed the cup holder and that’s not the issue. It’s the way the panel is molded.

Seriously, that's a lot of whine! lol
Yes, molded for the cup holder...you definitely don't want the enclosure any smaller just to fit the amp!
If you are not happy with how you mounted the amp, mount it better, mine is rock solid and all the leads are safe from any sharp edges...you may have to wrap the wires or provide protection to them, it's part of the installation process.
I also don't understand your "takes it further away" comment, further away from what, you are moving it about 6", what's the problem?
You are going to have to have a bit more of a flexible attitude if you want to do the install yourself, or just pay someone to do a half ass job at twice the price, luckily it's not rocket science, it plug 'n play!

yeah I’m whining. I’ve fully rewired cars and trucks, fuel injection conversions, motor swaps, etc. and just wasn’t expecting a $1000 amp to require so much customization.

I’m also not exactly satisfied with the oe box.

i think I’m right in looking for other options.

I have no idea what you are expecting or why this seems so complicated?
I don't think the price has anything to do with ease of installation, this is plug and play, it doesn't get any easier than that, but what do I know, I'm 62 years young and it's been 10 years since my last install in my Focus SVT, which is where my sub came from.
You should really hear what the sub sounds like...I was shocked with how loud and how low it is!
Good luck to you and Happy Trails...

I stuffed it farther to the left of the stock box.

It is a huge amp for what it is....

FYI I got a gear shade box for a JL Audio 10” sub I had sitting around. Everything fit perfectly.

I made this weird little cage thing with rubber offsets and stuffed it back into the hole. The bent part acts as kind of a tension spring and holds everything in place surprisingly well.

It’s really solid.

How did you mount the amp in that space?
