2026 Bronco Raptor?

Trying to decide about getting a '25 now or waiting a couple of months for the arrival of the '26's. anyone heard about possible changes to the '26 models?

Lots of rumors, but most of those rumors likely would have no impact on the Raptor.

Either way, there have been no official announcement yet. Next month is the 60th anniversary of the Bronco, so we might get some 2026 details next month. But we probably won't get all of the 2026 details until Q4-ish.

Seeing is how they can’t even sell hundreds of left over 24 raptors id wonder why ford would bother making 26s

Im curious if they even offer a 2026 let alone a 2027 and 2028 (6th gen platform scheduled to run through 2028). Even if they added the dual live valve setup, Im not sure what other incremental upgrades would bring buyers. The obvious is the one they wont do, v8.

2026 Models are just now being built for the first few months there will only be a handful of 26 Rangers and Broncos. I do see changes when they happen but usually only when the body has majorly changed. I've not seen anything major in the Broncos but the Ranger is getting an interesting new feature.

Could be. Seems really early considering actual production probably won’t start until the beginning of the year or so. But I also have no idea when they typically do that stuff

So let me try to answer what I know so far and give some clarification.

I'll answer powertrain first. I don't think there is any major powertrain changes to any of the trims this time, I'm going to say that's a strong educated guess because there hasn't been any major changes to the cooling system or bolster arrangement since they removed the trans oil cooler (something the engineers were proud about because it was apparently heavily tested). Performance specs are something R&E is going to know we don't usually see it unless Ford posts it internally on BlueOval and they'd only do that if there was a monumental change (they'd be proud of that, and did just that when they announced the Mustang GTD to us).

Afaik there has been no change to the available paint colors as of yet but its the first couple dozen cars for both vehicles (Ranger and Bronco) and I think those vehicles are more or less sent for federal testing. There will be more pre-sale cars built that will be show cars sent to the dealers etc and any radical color changes and trim changes will be seen on those (this is what happened when Shelter Green was reintroduced). Much of the same goes for trim for right now but I can't confirm that until I can go see one at flat top at completion and that won't be until they make a few more.

They have very high seniority guys and sometimes engineers when these are rolling for the first few times for the year and they're usually super open to answer questions so I will try to answer some of the burning ones when come over to whatever area I'm in that day (I do a lot of different jobs in different stages of completion).

Now I will leave you with a little bit of early knowledge. There is a new 60th anniversary trim (non-Raptor)that will be announced on the 4th on Ford.com it looks positively awesome only comes in the SAS package with the 2.3 and 2.7 Ecoboost options The 60th Anniversary Package adds standard wheelbase-length running boards to aid ingress and egress and also introduces new A-pillar-mounted grab handles, available on all 2026 Bronco models. And at the rear, a new hard-center rear tire cover, finished in Wimbledon White and featuring a Vermilion Red “BRONCO” wordmark, introduces a more premium look to the rear of the vehicle, as does a matte black Ford badge on the tailgate.
