Just placed my order for a '26 Braptor! This is totally new to me as I've previously been a Toyota guy. My original choice was between a Toyota 4Runner Off-Road Premium and Lexus GX550 Overtrail. On the way home from test driving those 2, I stopped off at the Ford dealership and thought I'd check out the Braptor. Wow! What a beast! Impressive for sure. My thought process was that with the 4R or GX550, I would need to do suspension, wheels along with interior mods. With the Raptor, I would not have to worry about the suspension and clearance for larger tires as it hit leg day hard with crazy suspension travel and 37" tires. I ended up ordering the following;
2026 Bronco Raptor
White (but almost chose Avalanche)
Graphics package $1275
Color matched top $1450
Orange seat belts $495
Leather $2495

The dealer mentioned that it will most likely be scheduled first of the year with a February delivery date. Can't wait!

Welcome ! You picked the fastest colour btw :like:

The BRaptor is an incredible machine, with excellent chops on road as well. I was truly surprised by how well-mannered it was on the road as for off-road, well, yeah, duh. That is what it was built for!

I came out of my heavily modified Badlands to the BRaptor. You will enjoy your choice.

So now the wait begins! It will be worth it. So Enjoy! When it does arrive, it will begin the journey.

So with that said, let the mods........BEGIN!!!!!

I too was surprised by the street manners. The NVH is minimal and actually better than expected. And really the wind noise was the only thing I was worried about. Seems like the 2025/26 hard top is coming in a little quieter than previous years or so I've read.

I've been feverishly researching mods. I'm finding out that there's a difference in the painted tops vs MIC. It gives me a little pause but I'm hoping companies simply make a specific top bracket for the painted roofs that's a little shallower. Right now I'm looking for mods so I can trail and camp in it. So mostly interior accessory type items. I'd like to have;
- ability to make a flat floor with the use of a drawer and flat plate over the seat. I'm only 5' 8" and believe I can fit head to toe for sleeping
- on board air using an ARB twin compressor
- fridge with slide
- power for my ecoflow battery
- ability to put a RTT on. Understanding that the roof has limitations for a rack and especially a painted roof.
- ability to carry at least 5 gallons of gas
- ability to carry water
All of these seem relatively simple but still learning what manufactures offer solutions. I've been absorbed in the Toyota world for a while. Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks,

- ability to make a flat floor with the use of a drawer and flat plate over the seat. I'm only 5' 8" and believe I can fit head to toe for sleeping: American Adventure Lab. They make these types of things. Also the Ford Pull out Tailgate will level out the back as well, and you can creat your own setup.
- on board air using an ARB twin compressor: The DV8 floor kit can accomplish this. There is a bigger box you can get in the rear which is a drop in, that will accommodate the ARB twin. A member has this setup.
- fridge with slide: AAL, or American Adventure Lab. They have some of the best setups for this. It may cost a bit more, but their gear is top notch.
- power for my ecoflow battery
- ability to put a RTT on. Understanding that the roof has limitations for a rack and especially a painted roof.
- ability to carry at least 5 gallons of gas: There is a bumper that will let you do this. Expensive, but very nice. Expedition one Bumper
- ability to carry water

Congrats. I love mine. It’s a second vehicle for me, but I still managed to put 15k miles on it this past year.

Well I have had my 2024 Ford Bronco Wildtrak now for 18 months and it has been one of the most fun vehicles I have ever owned, Still loved my Pontiac 1982 Trans am for street fun. But having a Bronco is off-road fun. Taking the hard tops off in Summer and going to the beach, and then turning around and driving in four wheel drive in the winter and going to a ski resort. I Have had zero problems, She is going into the shop for a checkup in a month and getting her 15000 oil change and tire rotation.

Freedom and reliability in a Bronco and I hope you enjoy your 60th year of the Ford Bronco creation.

Can hardly wait to order mine. The "Avalanche" color is incredible. What made you go with "Oxford White" instead, or not choose Avalanche? Either way it's exciting. Congrats mate!

My choice for white is that I know from experience that it conceals pinstriping well. That said, the Avalanche or any other light color would also work well. The sales guy did say that Avalanche was the most popular color for Raptors in general. I think I could be happy with either. My son would rather have Avalanche...

Congrats.
  • I second the AAL stuff. I've got a full set and love it. Pics in my build thread.
  • I suggest considering a CO2 tank instead of an on board compressor. Pair a DIY tank and regulator system (saves a ton over turn key products) with some Monster Valves and you will be absolutely blown away by how fast you can deflate and inflate. Mounting your tank is waaay easier than a full compressor install. You'll get a lot of air ups from just a 10 lb tank.
  • If you go RTT, definitely get the JCR kit to "route" the rack and tent weight and loads into the roll bar. The top isn't strong enough for the way the loads go all in to it without this kit. https://www.jcroffroad.com/product/BR6MT-RP.html

When you ordered the 2026 model, were there any available discounts, or was it just the standard MSRP with additional options

Thank you! All good input. The JCR support bracket seems like the ticket for an RTT.

You know I didn't even bother asking for a discount off MSRP. It was at MSRP for the order though. I guess I was content with that price thinking that they usually go for over. Have you been seeing discounts off MSRP for ordered Raptors?
