I ordered a 2025 Heritage on 11/8/24 from the dealer. I received an email saying I would "receive an update regarding your order within the next 45 days". I am on day 43 and nothing... Do you know if they stick to this notification process? The dealer has not had any negative news, but no positive either.

It's roughly 45 days, sometimes longer, sometimes shorter. I will say those emails are not really all that valuable though, so I wouldn't worry about it too much.

The next email you should be looking for is when you get scheduled for production. Scheduling occurs roughly once or twice on a month and always on a Thursday. So once you do get scheduled you should expect to get an email either on a Thursday or Friday.

Scheduling has already occurred for February build dates, so unless the production schedule changes and you slide into a February slot... the earliest you're looking at is March. But it's hard to predict—Heritage is a fairly unique configuration, so more likely than not they bundle and build all of the Heritage orders around the same time. And of course we don't know exactly when that time will be.

Either way, I wouldn't expect an email anytime in the next 2-3 weeks. Ford HQ is on holiday until January 2nd, and so the next possible scheduling day would be January 9th.

All good information. Thank you!

Is it unusual they have only done scheduling one week so far for the 2025 Retail orders? Since the order banks have been open I believe 12/5 is the only day they‘ve sent out anything on scheduled orders - mainly for production the last week of February. Assuming they don’t do any more until the week after New Years you are talking going almost 3 months with only the once.

They've done two weeks so far, one on November 21st and one, as you've said, on December 5th.

And yes, it's normal for the holiday season. From a scheduling/production perspective, November and December are basically considered to be a single month. The plant shuts down for several weeks for the winter break holiday at the end of the year and the model year cutover. And when you combine that with Thanksgiving, Veterans Day, and Election Day—all US Ford employee holidays—you end up with effectively 5 weeks (a little over I guess) of production spread out over two months.

There is also a shutdown during the summer around the 4th of July holiday.

My 2025 HE is scheduled to be built on 2/24. I put in an order as soon as the new B&P came out back in October / November, then waited for order banks to open for my order to go through. It took over a month for Ford to schedule my build and I received the scheduling email at the beginning of December... hopefully they will stick to 2/24 with no delays 🤞

Good luck and congrats on your order! 🎉

Also, don’t forget that Ford announced that they would be reducing Bronco production for 2025

I was like a dog on a bone and checked many times a day to be able to order. I picked out all of the options for mine and as soon as the dealer had pricing which was 11/8, I ordered it. Hopefully RagnarKon is correct and I will hear something 1/9/25!
