Sad to see Wildtrak go - it's my favorite (obviously, since that's what I got).

That said, the good news is that it's basically been replaced by the Badlands black appearance package.....the biggest difference there is the lack of the tan interior option, and lack of Sport mode, which I feel is far more useful on a regular basis than other modes like Baja.....not sure why they couldn't add that mode...

I know some people hate the mid package, but like in my case there was no way I was buying a vehicle without the stuff in the mid package. So base was never even a consideration for me.
This was how I ended up in a Badlands. I wanted the Mid, but it was not an option with the Black Diamond and the manual transmission (I never understood why, other than Ford marketing screwing with the customer base), so I had to get the Badlands and fork over another (memory getting fuzzy here) $6K+.

“Base Late Availability”

well I just came. I’ve been waiting for the base to come back since the day it left. We wanted to do manual orders and for like a year and a half they weren’t allowed. As soon as they were put back into the order book they dropped the base model.

both me and my girlfriend will do base orders if this is real.

I can definitely feel the difference in the brakes between the 2.3 and 2.7. My wife drives a 2.3 OBX and I drive a 2.7 WT. Driving back to back- the difference is huge. Her brakes feel unresponsive and mushy compared to mine.

It actually worked reverse for me. I originally wanted an OBX. I wasn't going to spring for the leather seats and when I saw I could get the mid + sig head lights on the BB I made the switch.

I have a 22 BL 4-door with the 2.3L and I don't feel the brakes are mushy at all. Not BMW brakes by any means, but not horrible. I guess I need try a Bronco with the electric brake motor to feel the difference.

Then I can hate my Bronco like the guy who started the 2023 complaint thread! :ROFLMAO:
probably an easy fix, just but SS brake lines on it to offset the feel when hot.

Ahhh. If it is an issue when the brakes get hot (what us old-timers call "brake fade"), I don't have to worry too much about that. I don't do that kind of off-roading/driving.

I don't get the rear HVAC only on the four-door. The rear space is very similar between two door and four door with the exception of the middle seat, and the two-door rear passengers don't even get their own window to roll down.
I think the shifting positioning in the manual may have something to do with why no vents in it. Seems there is a difference in routing for the manual due to where the shifter is located.

Not sure. I only see it say that rear HVAC will be in the four-door and not the two-door. Nothing involving automatic or manual. From the rear seats forward they are identical.

Once youve driven the 2.7L with the electric brake booster, or really any other Ford, youll really notice how bad the 2.3L brakes are, especially with the sasquatch package. My wifes Everglades brakes just feel like a sponge every time I drive it. Thats really my only complaint about her Everglades. Everything else I love about it. But those brakes feel so crappy. Glad they are improving that for the 25s. But they removed the Everglades. So weve got the last of a dying breed with our 24 Everglades.

Gosh they’re really only allowing the packages on the Big Bend 😩. I have an OBX and was thinking of trading is for a Black Diamond, but you don’t get a 360 camera. They should allow the Black Diamond package on the OBX
