Last September it took 3 weeks to get my confirmation email…

I was on the phone with the ordering manager when I placed my order and I received the confirmation email right awayI had the dealer place an order for me over text last week, and he texted me back saying he has "sent it in" and I should get the confirmation email in a few days. Today I asked about the status (not received the email yet) and he said I won’t get an email until ford process the order and that no telling when that will be. Does this make sense? I thought you get the confirmation email soon as order is placed regardless of availability.
Really, I've been waiting a lot longer than thatChances are good. Ford is cranking them out now. The MY23 ordered during the March 2023 ordering period were delivered to their owners within 3-4 months.
What dealership did you order from? That’s a bit out of date. Ford only set’s priority 1 and 2 now. 3-19 is set by the dealer. It really has no meaning if you are 3-19 other than what is in your dealers orders. People should not read too much into the priority unless it is 1-2 or 99.Everyone should read this explanation on Priority Codes. The key take away here is that the priority code on your order is a dealer code only. It is for their internal use only. This is from Bronco Nation.

Dealer allocation = how many units a dealer will getregarding dealer allocation, I'm confused...how does dealer allocation impact an order, and would it in general be better to order from a higher allocation dealer than a local, low allocation dealer? And lastly, how can a consumer know what a dealer's allocation is? Thanks for your help
I did have an issue placing an order for my Everglades last week... The dealer I was initially working with, made me send him the order, photo of my driver's license, sign all the papers, etc.. just for him to call me few hours later and tell me they couldn't place my order because they reached the number of allocations for that specific model so I had to call dealers for one to finally say they had couple more allocations for the everglades and successfully place my order.. Not sure what the issue in your case is but it could very well be related to allocations or the specifications you're wanting to get.. To my understanding 2 door + manual transmission are extremely limited.. If I were you, I'd start calling other dealerships and see if they're able to help you out. Theoretically speaking, the bigger the dealership(more popular), the more allocations they are allowed.Has anyone had any trouble at all placing an order? The dealer I'm working with initially said the order was getting kicked back for a pricing issue, now they are saying they can't access the system at all at the moment. I'm trying to order a Big Bend Non Sas 2 Door Manual. I have a suspicion that the rear locker being added on to the build was causing the pricing issue.
Thankfully that was indeed the hold up, order was placedGood hunch.
Rear locker is not available on Big Bend with the manual transmission. That's why the order is getting kicked back by WBDO. (If your dealer looked at the order guide they would know this.)
You either have to bump up to a Black Diamond 2 door... or go without the rear locker.
