When I was roaming around the dealership while getting an oil change, I spotted this beautiful GT500 in "mischievous purple metallic"... this color would look great on a Bronco.

This is the same running color as AMB, Kodiak Brown, Magma Red, and Gem Green. They are all blacks with a hint of some other color in the sun. It will look good on the Mustang and chromed out F-150s but thats it. Same drab effects that AMB has in the Bronco, the panels are too flat.

I've been thinking about this for quite some time, and it's been a slow week, so I decided to fire up my rendering software and put together a list of predictions for the 2024 paint palette. These predictions are based on several different factors including colors confirmed by Ford, colors shared with the Ranger, likely carryovers from 2023, leaks and testing pictures, Mustang S650 colors, and finally my own conjecture. I've ranked this list from most to least likely based on all the information we currently have on hand, and I've rendered out colors we've not yet seen on the Bronco based on color codes and existing images to try and get as close as possible to the real world paint colors.

Again, having debuted just this year and Ford's trademark exclusive color for the Raptor means Code Orange is very likely to stay as a part-time resident in MAP's paint booths for 2024.
Hell yeah. Code Orange on a 2024 2D Badlands SAS hopefully with the Hoss 3.0 option.

First choice for my Bronco was AMB, but I waited too long to place the order. Then I saw EG. Love it! But dark blue has a special place, and your rendition of Atlas Blue is almost perfect. Vista Blue on my '08 GT was gorgeous when clean and the sun was shining. Hell no on grabber blue on a Bronco. Still undecided on the Velocity Blue, as i have yet to see that on a Bronco in person. Thanks for all your work, and making me waste an hour of my time looking at Bronco Colors.

Sorry for a slow response, was off in exotic locations with beautiful turquoise waters and chicks in bikinis (it happens, I survived).

Okay, on topic: there is one color in your OP which I think will be making a change. A core color.

Mustang has switched to Ingot silver for its "base, boring fleet silver" color. It's very unlikely that Ford doesn't swap all Iconic Silver for Ingot across the fleet. Does that change matter much if not absolutely not at all? No, doesn't matter for doodly squat. If you want bright silver they are all ubiquitous and essentially the same.

Also, perhaps a bit too much focus on heritage? There will be other limited editions and thus limited edition colors. Ranger Raptor should align some of the special colors up with Bronco opening the 12th paint booth at MAP for small runs. That SPLASH! edition Rangers went off without a hitch was a good dry run. By MY24 or MY25 I expect the color pallet to have shifted quite a bit from the abysmal MY21-23 offerings. Especially as tri-coat paints seldom survive past 2 model years, if that live past 1 year! That should rotate out all the tri-coats offered in MY23, but their pay-wall being reset at about the $1,000 mark.
You’re probably right about Ingot Silver based on the S650 palette, I imagine we’ll be getting more details on the Ranger soon since we’re getting the next-gen T6.2 next year and that’ll likely confirm a majority of the color palette for 2024. I’m focusing on the Heritage mostly because that’s the wildcard. It’s up in the air for how long they’ll continue the Heritage Edition, at least until 2025 since they’ve confirmed Peak Blue for the first half of 2024, leaving one color in the air for the second half. Based on Yellowstone and Robin’s Egg, it’ll likely be a very retro color that would probably look out of place on the rest of Ford’s lineup, which makes me lean towards something like Boxwood Green, though a Brown is possible too.

As far as other Limited Editions, all we know of is the Oates Edition, the only thing about which we know is that it appears to be exclusively a 2-Door Trim, so any guesses as to what exclusive color it may get would be completely baseless on my part.

Hmm, for some reason I thought rapid red had a bit more maroon/metallic in it.
Still looks good though.

It does, in different lighting it looks darker or lighter and in pure sun the mettalic really shows.

Rapid Red was my first choice. I had it on my Bronco Sport (I won't post a picture because I don't want to get burned at the stake ). I wish I could have gotten it with my Bronco, but Eruption Green is pretty good.

How is a guy supposed to keep track of all these colors if they keep changing when you observe them. Ford must have gotten the rights to Schrodinger's palette

Nothing wrong with that. Most cowboys had a donkey or two at home back in the day 😂

I just really want a yellow not locked behind a special edition. It would be worth it to upgrade to the new MY for me if a yellow was unveiled

Our Explorer that we traded for the Bronco was Rapid Red. It was a great color, and a shame they only made it for one model year, and then axed it. Here's how it looked when it was clean, and in bright sunlight...

We had an ST in Rapid Red. Felt like I could swim in the color, it was so deep.

OK, I like the Sage over my Eruption Green, but everytime I see it I think of a certain Toyota.
