My highly appointed build has been built probably hundreds of times over. I've seen them at dealerships. 100,000+ trucks built. They are not all 2.3L, base 4DR. I'm not saying they have chips coming out of their ears but they are not constrained to fulfill orders of early reservation holders that are still left. FORD is purposely not building these orders. Chips, allocations, etc, its all garbage. They can build vehicles if they choose.
You're right. They are choosing to not build vehicles. It makes complete sense now.

You are adding the assertion of only factoring in the Limited HE. I didn't mention that specific HE. I don't think people will have a chance at the Limited HE realistically. But I was referencing the [standard] HE based on the Big Bend. In the larger discussion on the HE editions, someone had crunched the numbers and the standard HE is pretty darn close to a regular Sasquatch Big Bend. It really isn't "over priced" for what you are getting compared to a Sasquatch Big Bend. And there will be no production limit on the standard HE.

So if someone is ordering a Sasquatch Big Bend and wants to gamble on retaining their price protection for MY'24, it is a mistake IMO. With a $2k price increase from MY to MY and no commitment for price protection for MY'24, the standard HE at MY'23 MSRP will likely be a better deal than gambling on whether price protection will even be offered for MY'24.
Not really asserting any specific model. Most of them carry a price premium merely to call themselves “unique.” It was a legitimate question. If you’re spending more in 2023 to get a model than you were for your model. Are you sure you’re saving any money if you wait to get what you wanted in 2024? The answer is no because we don’t know what it looks like. I’m not judging you but nobody will know if you saved any money for another year.

Haha. Well played.

No. I'm not holding my breath... but I do think we see progress.

Now... who gets those 1,966 HE Ltds? ... and will reservations even matter? Screw price protection. I'll put my July '20 reservation in the hat for one of those.

True enough, but the allocation process changed mid stream, so here we (shit), I mean sit. If Chips were prevalent, I’d guess we would not be in the allocation hell we are in.
Well, I might be a bit conspiratorial here but I think it's manufactured demand. Look at all the new, highly electronical vehicles that FORD has produced since the Bronco re-release. They are making those too. I just don't buy their excuses. You here of people sick of waiting for their Bronco and bump to Jeep or a Toyota and they are getting those vehicles. I mean I know its different now than in 2019 but I am not convinced that the reason my 7/14 rez is not fulfilled is because there are no chips and Granger shouldn't get/deserve *that* many trucks. Every dealer that I have within 20 miles of me has had nicely appointed Broncos on their lots. They all sold. The all had $10-40K ADMs. This is not a coincidence.

Let me correct- choosing not build early reservations/reservations at certain dealerships. That is my point. My build has been made many many times over in the course of 100K+ Broncos built thus far. There are no constraints. And the allocation thing is an invented "excuse".

100,000 trucks. And it's probably more than that. What was the latest number put out by FORD? Anyone?

Except it’s not just Granger and it’s not just Bronco’s. At least where I am at, none of the new car dealers have new cars on the lots and where I work, it’s a constant battle to build systems because boards (chips) are not available. Am I happy about it, no, but I don’t believe it’s a master conspiracy for these companies to make more money. My guess is these dealers are making way less than they did when the lots were full even when asking over MSRP.

Just my opinion and your mileage may vary.

They have built over 100K Broncos. How constrained do you really think they are?

I've been waiting 750+ days. Enough. Build my goddamn truck,
At 732 days and counting, I'm right there with you. Just build the damn trucks for those who Ford claimed to be 'prioritizing'!

Yes, this was what I was referring to. Shadow Black Mod Top are late availability along with any Dual Tops. But the interpretation of the one bullet point was the basis of my response to Nathan.

1661781495059.png

The "Std." in parenthesis I interpret that to be the standard Heritage Edition being late availability (post J2). Which would mean that every mod top for J1 will be for the Heritage Limited in Robin's Egg Blue. We know that REB will be built before switching to Yellowstone on the HE Limited. Ford isn't going to park the REB Broncos until June of next year.

But anyone ordering the standard HE will be pushed to J2. I would wager that anyone ordering a standard HE will take priority over any standard trim wanting a shadow black HT. I would even double-down and say that the shadow black HT will be vaporware for MY'23 and anyone optioning it will be pushed to MY'24.
I don’t disagree but I hope you are wrong. I have 99’d my day 3 reservation for two years now waiting on that top. I am in no hurry though. I want what I want and will wait. Frustrating though.

Since we've seen 2023 Ford Bronco order guide distributed to dealers today, when will the FMC website show 2023 Bronco prices and options on their website? If we have an existing reservation order not fulfilled, we have to physically go into our Ford dealership before 9/12/22 to move our order to 2023 and do COVP verification? I lost my cyber orange option too.

All I can say is I sure hope that my dealer will get at least one allocation so they can fulfill their first Bronco order, a 2DR V-6 Basesquatch from my Aug 2020 reservation. :cautious:

Just busting chops. You’re 100% right. The way they’ve scheduled the builds and decided allocations is seemingly random. No reason they couldn’t give insight to the process.
