Yep. One size fits all. As long as that size ain’t a MY22…
Well in my experience with this stuff in the past, sometimes model to model it doesn’t work until they update forscan. There could have been a revision for the gateway module or something else and it’s just appearing that we can’t access. I’m not sure though but just being hopeful since I’ve had this happen many times over to me before. If reloading as a new vehicle doesn’t work then that’s usually what the problem is and we just need to wait for an update.

I see that an update came out 02/07. I’ll download it and see if anything changes.

If it’s used to add capabilities and features that others have paid for then no. And if the owner of the proprietary code determines they don’t want to give it away for free, then I respect their decision. Finding a way around it after Ford has shut it down is stealing. So, as I said……let your conscience be your guide. And I guess if you bought an IPhone and can figure out a way to access all their content (music/Movies, etc.,) like some 2-bit freeloader, then have at it, but don’t have the nerve to whine about it when Apple discovers the unauthorized access and shuts it down.
You keep referring to "what others have paid for" That is not a good argument. You are under the assumption that WT is the top trim. I would argue that it is not, in fact I don't really know if you can classify OBX, BL, or WT as a top trim. Not sure if there is such a top. Each have the same abilities just WT is standard with them. Each has unique options and interiors. Once you add Sasquatch pkg to any of the trims, they are now the same. Minus what GAOT modes are enabled and which are not. Except BL has swaybar disco. And if you just want to base it off of money, then the BL fully loaded, is more expensive than WT. You can make the BL into the WT but not the WT into a BL. And since that is your basis for why ForScan is wrong (in terms of unlocking Modes) I again say its a bad argument. I "paid for" sport mode, it was just disabled. I am not saying I agree with or disagree with the ability to unlock the modes, I am simply stating, the argument of some paid for it and some didn't is not valid.

Damn, I was hoping that the latest FORScan update would re-enable all of @D2dhanover’s posts and allow him to start participating again. :sneaky:

really a shame that D2d left and got more or less erased, should have copied all his posts I guess, was really interesting reading reports of his explorations.

Same with premierdrum, who also seems to have gotten nixed for providing too much good information. Unfortunate, though I can see Ford's point of view too.

You paid for what what was listed on the Window sticker, and the capabilities listed by Ford for each trim level. If you acquired Sport, or Baja or other Modes by a means Ford is not cool with, then my point still stands. I also said if Ford unlocks this capability through FORscan, then more power to you.
Ad to the WT argument you make as not being the top trim, I agree with you and only refer to it as the top trim since the build and price lists the trims from Base to FE, with FE no longer an option, so by default, the WT is the top/most expensive standard trim. Now, you could spend a lot of money adding features and capabilities and accessories to either the BL or WT, but that wasn’t what I was referring to. Also, true you could plasti-dip your emblem, and paint your beauty rings and Grill and add Sasquatch, 2.7L, etc., and I could add bash plates, steel bumper and sliders to the WT, but there is no way currently to make a WT with the auto swaybar dico……but, you could manually disconnect the Swaybar and achieve virtually the same capabilities as a BL.
However, the number and types of GOAT modes was without a doubt a consideration as to the trim most people considered when selecting their Bronco.

really strange every inch of their history here is vaporized - is that the result of a C&D?

who knows, but I can only imagine some lawyers were involved there. I can see Ford's point (if they are behind it), nobody wants somebody with connections to post 'secrets' or show people backdoors to get things they didn't buy. But still, sad to see all that interesting content and two forum members that actually added a lot of good value to this place gone.

then they'd better start expanding their legal department; this is far from the first use case of FORSCAN or the only place providing these details.

With my 2 door badlands sasquatch 2.7l in normal mode there is tremendous power and I feel a waste to even think about adding a sport mode.
It's not about the power, it's about the responsiveness both in the pedal and the wheel. It just drives better in sport mode and it disables the annoying auto stop/start. FWIW, my Bronco came with sport mode (which I would rather have over Baja mode for practical purposes), having them all is best... However even better would have been to be able to make a custom mode (where you could calibrate it to the settings you wanted).

Well, it's clear that OBX is the top trim... LOL. It's the only one of the top 4 trim levels with Sport mode. ;)

FWIW, I would not even say Sport mode was disabled in the other trims, it just wasn't configured to be available. It wasn't disabled, it just wasn't selectable in the default menu.

So let's look at that window sticker.... Mine says that it comes with "Terr Mgmt w/G.O.A.T. Modes".

No where does it specify how many or few GOAT modes I get. So I guess there's that little problem solved. Looks like I get them all. As for the marketing materials, those have had plenty of misprints... So let's not go there.

It's clear as day in the owners manual too, it does not say "Rock Crawl (If Equipped)" - It says, "Rock Crawl", but the owners manual sure as heck says, "Lane Keeping System (If Equipped)" and "Adaptive Cruise Control (If Equipped)". There is nothing in the entire GOAT mode section about whether or not a particular trim has a particular GOAT mode - Pages 242 - 248.
