Yep, this happed to the f150s several times...no big deal the code is just changed as the truck is modernized and new features are added , new code is added. The ”old” 2021 character that needs changed is just a different unknown one....thats all folks.

The D2Hanover part is far more concerning to me as I've seen others 86ed from this site as well...and the powers that start, create and run these forums for automobiles and others things are just like every other information gathering xxxxxx. Bla bla bla...I won't even type what I know. Just be careful on here and be aware the folks with the most power and controll, are also pulling the strings.
Some of you that have their 22 need to get the codes for the various Goat modes.

I think they're the same though. It's probably as someone else said just waiting on an update to the program so it can read/write certain modules. Sometimes they change between model years, I've seen it happen in the past before.

I've had that error many times on brand new vehicles until forscan updated

As in your original post's issue was resolved with this particular adapter, or are you still having issues?
I am able to make some changes like the double honk and auto start stop, but still nothing with the GOAT modes.

I believe Ford was trying to give give the upper level trims their own identity. BL as a rock crawl beast and WT as the back road/road king. I always thought Ford should have given BL the sport mode but limited the Baja mode to the WT and FE. As to why FE wasn’t given all 8 GOAT modes is anyone’s guess.
Like BL owners and the lack of sport mode I wished my WT was available with Rick crawl mode….I mean it’s the most expensive and listed as the top trim and comes with 4.7 gears and Sasquatch standard. And I must say it’s a bit irritating that since the ability to add Sport mode to a BL and Baja mode to an OBX the comments about the WT being an unnecessary trim became more prevalent.
To me the use of Forscan for Sport mode, or Baja mode when people were forced to make a decision (give and take) on trim level and pay for those options is the equivalent of someone paying for Mid pkg and enabling ACC, heated steering wheel, wireless charging free of charge, while others paid thousands for those options.
There might be some that would feel the same way if the WT and other trims were able to activate Rock Crawl mode thru Forscan. The BL would lose some of its identity and people would get a major option for free that BL purchasers paid for.
I guess it just comes down to who’s ox is being gored. I wasn’t going to lose any sleep either way, but it does seem a bit of a slight if Ford continues to allow people to add for free what others have paid for.
Wait, are you saying there is a way to enable CC, heated steering wheel, wireless charging? I have the high package and the cover for the acc module behind the bumper, but there is nothing behind that cover.

I tried to enable ACC and got the screen on the dash, but precollision and advance control warning errors telling me not available.

I’m curious about something. One thing I noticed about my MY22 is that the dual climate knobs no longer display the digital temp. I don’t even care, but it makes me wonder why. So then I think, a lot of 22s are being delivered while 21s continue to be delayed. Could it be ford changed semiconductor chips in the 22s to avoid the production stalls. This could explain differing displays and options. This could very likely mean the coding has changed for MY22.

The cost for the knobs with the digital temp display rose dramatically. A Ford engineer, who is a former B6G member, said continuing to use the 2021 knobs would raise the price close to $900.

💯

The average customer would be overwhelmed with all the options, but the people that know what they really want (many of us here) would be on cloud nine.
I started a thread like this awhile back, if you could build your dream bronco, picking and choosing options from different trims to make a Frankenstein.

Ok ok so there’s an explanation for that. But still begs the question why so many 21 holders still have no bronco and all the sudden making 22s are not a problem. I still think they changed chips. That would explain the forscan issues.

No problem at all with that when different features actually involved different hardware. (Like trying to put a mode that uses lockers and SBD on a trim that doesn't have that hardware.)

But there has never been any rational reason that Sport mode shouldn't be available on the Badlands and FE. All the hardware is there. Disabling it is simply removing a feature for no other reason than to remove a feature.
I always assumed it was a safety concern around the disco, as the only two trims without sport are the only trims with disco.

The folks at Ford monitoring this forum must be laughing their asses off reading this!
If they did make changes to prevent adding modes, I would argue there's a good possibility that it was done because of the endless bitching here. Nonstop complaining about Ford and how they handled "The Rollout".
I would imagine Ford would be happier if there were no supply issues and everyone had their Bronco.
I remember when Americans ran into an obstacle, we figured out how to get past it. Now it's easier to just go on a forum and complain to get your way.
I'm done here. This is a joke!

Really hope someone figures this out.
My first reaction is this is just a giant FU from Ford to their customers. Absolutely no reason to block this change.
With my 2 door badlands sasquatch 2.7l in normal mode there is tremendous power and I feel a waste to even think about adding a sport mode.

But why not have it if it’s free? It’s kinda cool because it automatically switches you to 4A.

Agreed it was one of the first things I did when I got my Bronco. So many possibilities with what they basically “one-size-fits-all” the software.

Yep. One size fits all. As long as that size ain’t a MY22…
