2 AFTERMARKET AMPLIFIER INSTALL LOCATIONS OR IDEAS

I have a '23 4-door SAS and trying to think of ways and locations(options) to add 2 aftermarket amps.
I purchased the amp rack (see pic) to replace the factory SUB and AMP location ,but it doesn't have the space for a SUB amp and a Speaker amp in the small space it offers. Does anyone have any crafty ideas to get this install started?
I'd like to keep install the amps in the back area/trunk, no under steering wheel since they won't be the kicker small size ones.
Maybe a slightly elevated trunk floor?

My 200.4 went under the steering wheel and worked great. When I do my 500.1 it’s going in the factory sub/amp location.

If you don't mind exposed - there's heaps of molle storage panels that go almost all over the place - piggyback that with a bit of your mounting board and any of them could be good options. Shoot, you could even hang off the rear tailgate if your sub isn't going there. The cleanest multi-amp install I saw was along the rear seatbacks - of course, it meant you couldn't fold the seats down any more. The "attic panels" would be a nice install location too, if you do the wires clean.

Same thing could be said for a downfire sub enclosure - that's fairly standard to mount the amps on the enclosure.

Is being hidden a requirement? That makes it a good bit harder. The typical locations: front dash near/in the glovebox (Mountains 2 Metal has a nice bracket that fits some equipment - made for a radio but a lot of amps or processors will fit it). The center console has a good bit of room (@404 build there is nice)

The space you have in the passenger side with the OEM sub - you have a bit of space on the driver's side as well. It would need a different mounting option, but possible. Not hard to run cabling between the two sides either.

I have seen a rear storage area "leveling platform" - so it's level when the seats are laid down. I suppose you could use the underside of something like that and fit your amps hidden.

There's also the jack / storage compartment under the rear cargo floor - it's tight, and can be prone to get wet, but people have done things with that before too.

Under the front seats are options, but it's tight - can't fit anything terribly large under there.

I put my 5 channel in the glovebox and ran everything from there.

Depending on the size of the amps, the amp rack from MTI Acoustics will allow you to mount an amp on the front and back of the amp rack.

3 amps in my system; 2 mounted on the MTI rack, and 1 under the passenger seat.

that's the same rack I purchased.

• Do you have any pictures of your amp rack with the amps?

I would guess it's hard to access once installed and panel in place.

• Which amps did you end up going with and speakers? the options are endless and I'm looking for more quality sound , then quantity of Bass.

Kenwood x802.5, although now I'm wishing I had got one with an integrated DAC
