  1. Does anyone use a pulley system to remove their soft top?

I do. I got tired of trying to lift it. I have a hoister direct 7803.12 that I mounted in front of my hard top hoist so I can swap tops easily. I used lags into the rafters to mount the angle that it hangs off of. Then some 1/4” carabiners attached to the rope to clip onto the frame of the top.
  2. Open your soft top without removing the windows - Bronco 4 Door Easy-Fold Soft Top Windows by X-Rack

Do you have any pictures with the top completely down and latched? What is the ETA for the first delivery?
  3. Thinking of moving to DSP Amp

I find that a tune needs to have more bass than sounds normal when just sitting in the driveway. The road noise drowns out low end at normal listening levels. Also, I cut a little in the 2-4K range because that is where the harshness comes from. I attribute that to the glass reflection. When...
  4. Thinking of moving to DSP Amp

So I used forscan to turn off the factory dsp so I get four channels of full range to the amp. I didn’t have to do any cleanup to the input signal, as there was no time delay or eq applied. The according tune is pretty decent for what it does. Accordo does the delay times a little different...
  5. Thinking of moving to DSP Amp

Do you have a microphone to do the accordo auto tune? That will help you get it sounding pretty good. Just make sure you select a target curve. If you want I can send you a backup of one of my configurations. Just so you can compare.
  6. Muffler delete, adding resonator, but where and why

I tried this route with two different resonators, both in the mid position. One was an Amazon special the other a flowmaster. I really liked the sound but the drone at 1600 rpm is what made me switch to a cat back. Also don’t run the exhaust without the muffler too much as you will end up with...
  7. Thinking of moving to DSP Amp

I put in a Audison c8.14 and mounted it under the cup holders. I wanted to put it somewhere hidden and dry. I ran a usb cable toward the glove box and tucked it up there so I could tune it. I have been very impressed with that amp. I’m using it to power the front dash and rear pods, and bridged...
  8. Midbass from kickpanel speakers

I don’t remember exactly how thick it was or what the plastic was from. But it didn’t bend or flex easily which is what I was looking for.
  9. Midbass from kickpanel speakers

The black plastic was used in place of the foam pieces that the factory puts in behind the big electrical connector. I glued them in trying to make it airtight. I also used spray foam to seal the area where the body clips pop in and where the foam is that allows wiring to pass thru up high...
  10. Adding OEM front camera

Does the front camera wire directly to the Apim or does it require another module?
  11. Adding OEM front camera

Does anyone have a parts list of what is required to add the ford front camera? I know there are aftermarket options, but I’m specifically interested in the parts required to get it to work. I assume it requires some forscan changes?

  13. Considering a DSP / LOC

Not budget friendly but the Audison AF-C8.14 is small, has built in dsp and 8 x 65W at 4Ω. I run two channels for dash, 2 bridged channels to each kick 6 1/2 and two for the rears. It does well. You can get a remote knob that can adjust settings such as dsp preset, sub level etc. It can...
  14. Midbass from kickpanel speakers

Thanks. I had a buddy print them for me. They worked out well.
  15. Midbass from kickpanel speakers

I don’t have a write up. However here’s some pictures of what I did.
  16. Midbass from kickpanel speakers

I went through this effort I cut plastic pieces to close the large hole and glued it in place. Then I 3D printed some adapter rings for dayton audio 6.5’s. Ran them to a kicker key mounted above the glove box. I used spray foam to seal up inside where the clips protrude into the cavity. I ran...
