22K, late June 2021 build.

All years have issues, however TSB covers 21,22 only as TSB came out in Dec of 22. Yet 23 owners have issues too
What's the earliest report? Because this didn't come up for nearly a year after I owned mine.

EDIT: according to this spreadsheet - the earliest blend date is July of 2021...

I have a transmission skid...lemme see if I can easily access it without removing it this morning. Otherwise, it will have to be on Monday when I have some garage time.

Just did a drain and fill at 22,500 with BG Syncro Shift II - 75W-80. Seemed like the go to for Mustangs with the MT82.

It was an easy process - as others have suggested - make sure you can get the fill plug out before draining. I used one of these pumps and it took nearly 3 qt, even though the service manual states “2.5 qt* - Approximate total oil/volume capacity. Actual amount could vary between fluid changes.”

I’m bummed I accidentally spilled my oil sample - but, the original fluid wasn’t nearly as red as I expected. I planned to send it to Blackstone…but, it was the end of a long day and I was a moving around in the dark a bit hastily. Was hoping to provide some data. Ah well.

Also, plugs are torqued to 26 ft lbs.

Myself, while the oil is still OK, I like to change it once the manual transmission has been broken in, in order to flush it of the wear materials.

The same goes w/the transfer case and the front and rear differentials.

If you press in the clutch and it goes away it’s the throw out bearing.. just been my experience from past manual transmissions
That's wrong. Pressing the clutch also disconnects the transmission, so if noise is from transmission that noise would stop also.

pressing in clutch does nothing

when i come to a stop sign and press in clutch the sound is horrific :(
I think you are confused. Pressing the clutch in does stop the noise, because the input shaft is disconnected and the trans stops moving. You are probably thinking neutral and you still have noise. That's because even in neutral the input shaft is spinning and you still get the grinding.
