OK, so I know I have seen some reports on this but wanted to get a group opinion.
Coming to work today and all the sensors in the Bronco (22 outer banks lux, 2.3) started alerting that they were off.
It then went into limp mode and now at the office it will not turn fully off or on (stays in Aux for 10 minutes then shuts off).
I know they pushed an update a week or so ago (since then my app will not work to crank or lock) just wondering if the update could be a root cause of the issue, although i think the app has nothing to do with this...

I will say I did try the reset option, really didn't want to have it towed... but to no good.... whatever has tripped has tripped right

so the tow truck is on the way...

Just wondering if anyone else has gone thru similar?

Not sure if this is the cause but it very well could be. There's a connector behind the passenger side kick panel, aka C210. A ton of network and other stuff goes through this and has been an ongoing issue since the first broncos rolled off the line. We have had several of these but never found a pushed out pin or socket but believe it's due to small changes in resistance through the connections (oxidation). We've pulled them apart and hosed both ends down with a product called Deoxit, let it dry and put back together. There isn't a great pic of the connector itself but the last image is of C210. It has a latch on top and sort of held to the firewall with a plastic tab. The latch is a PITA to flip so if you decide to dig into this, be VERY VERY careful. You break it and the whole dash harness has to be replaced.

One thing you might try is grabbing the harness near the connector and pulling around on it. Might take some strain off of the wires enough to temporarily fix the issue.

Only issue I've got with this right now is this. It hasn't communicated today which might be due to the TCU communication above. My first suggestion would be pull disconnect the battery but if the truck is coming, let them handle it.

@flip thank you very much for taking the time to pull that up for me. The tow truck literally just picked it up to take to a dealer.

I will say back in the 90's my dad had an explorer and ford ran the emergency shut off sensor under the carpet on the passenger side and if your foot got just to the right spot it tripped the sensor. That was a long day figuring that out, and with your level of detail above just brought all that back to memory.

It is interesting those warning messages you found are all a week old, but this was the first real issue I had noticed.... Fingers crossed this will be an easy fix.

First issue of any kind I have had with it.... cannot say anything bad about it overall...

I honestly appreciate you taking the time to look that up for me!

You ever get down to Bama I got a beer waiting on you!!

These electronic gremlins are really getting annoying. I keep getting sway bar disconnect alarms and now pre-collision assist failure. They come and go on there own usually. Been back to the dealership and said nothing in the alarm log, they did reset the plug you are talking about behind the kick panel.

Let me know what they find. The code has been in there for awhile and may be an indicator of the problem but hard to say for sure.

@Ford Motor Company - So basically "forget the OP's issue" but your algorithm picks up someone else's issue? Interesting...

Hey @Administrator can we just make a section of the forum for "ask the Ford bot a question, get asked for your VIN", then block their account from posting out in gen pop?

It's been proven time and time and time again to be worthless to interact with what is essentially a shadow account.

It serves no value to the forum beyond Ford pretending it's marketing or providing customer service.
