I hope it helps you. my dealer told me "retail price protection is gone now" and is trying to make me pay the $2000 increase from march.

It shouldn't matter at all for the March 15th one. You have a window sticker from 3/1 that is before that increase. The dealership will be invoiced from Ford based on that number. Then reimbursed for the February 10th increase, if they sell it to you. (as far as i know.)

My order goes all the way back to Jan of 21 the first time order blanks opened. So my Private Offer was $3645 My SM tried to tell me that the PP was included in the PO. I argued and he said he called his regional and they said the same. So I came back at him and said your regional is wrong. In the end he agreed to write the "we owe you" statement because I think after about an hour of showing it to him he finally understood there was a price discrepancy. It is about $1750 in PP still "owed".

That said he could always give me the "We didn't get it" excuse and I can't prove that he did. but when I show him this he will have to live with the guilt of knowing I was right.

Oh that's the complete opposite for me.. I was very up front with the price protection and my dealer let me know that once the car shows that it was bought by the original order holder, Ford will confirm it with the dealer and a check will be written out to me.

Sounds like the dealer may be trying to pull a fast one..

Correct.

In my case, I printed from the B&P after I re-reordered my order in Oct of 22 and it has a difference of $1750 from that to my sticker. My sticker populated on Feb 27th.

When I picked up my Bronco this past Monday. Took in my original dealer signed "MSRP" order sheet from 02/2022 when I placed my original order.
If they decide to do the same to me, I've got a signed document saying otherwise

I signed 7 days before they printed my window sticker. BS it won't hold up. It was requested by Ford that I sign it. I ordered originally through Ford and paid a $100 deposit. They assigned me a dealer. What is their defense on raising the price 2K 7 days after they had me sign a paper agreeing to the price? They didn't know? Classic bait switch and I would have our states AG all over there ass. They are National chain and they would not like the bad press. The guy retired who I was working with who was in charge. He started to hedge the last time about MSRP. I have it in writing in fact they were very arrogant about straight pricing and no adders like desert pkg etc. We will see.

I finally got a Built email from Ford early this morning. Unfortunately, ETA is now 5/11-5/17, whereas earlier the chat agent said ETA was 4/20.

My Wildtrak is here (at the dealer)! They sure were quick to get that dealer sticker on it. I don’t care b/c I asked and was told today that Private Offer will come off the bottom line, Price Protection for increases after it was ordered in September as a 2023 is 100% covered and comes off the bottom line, and no market adjustments.
