New type of waiting you can look forward to:

Shipped but the rail car is sitting in the Chicago Interchange for a couple of days.

So close yet so far from over....

And then this kind of waiting: rail car unloaded 2 hours away, but it won’t be delivered to my dealer for another 2.5 weeks.

Hi Folks, my 3/6 build week bronco is coming in May. We are trying to get clarity from our dealer if we are getting price protection for the price increase this year. Apparently, some dealers are not acknowledging this and passing it to the buyer. What are you seeing about this?

My dealer just told me yesterday retail price protection is no longer available to me, only private offer. I am looking into it now. will keep you informed what I find out.

As you may know, the dealer is getting the price protection amounts for the feb and march increases. They were notified with these documents:
1. C&1/Pricing Announcement: EFC12360 and
2. C&1/Pricing Announcement: EFC12491

Hopefully we all get this straightened out before pickup.

We should only need the February one since our window stickers (and MSRP) was set before the March increase.

but thanks for the doc number. I’m sure I’ll need it as my dealer has conveniently not acknowledged it either on our replies.
It won’t stop me from buying, but it will sure piss me off if they don’t.

Thanks for pointing this out that we only need the Feb announcement. I didn't realize how that worked but it makes sense now.

Pisses me off as well!
Just got off the phone with ford and they have no clue...told " dealer has final say in the matter." I have a signed order from 2022 that the dealer must honor worst case scenario?
