  1. Got Rain w/o top, front cam went out and is back?!?!

As the title says, last night my bronco got rained on pretty well with no top or doors. Everything was fine, but when I got home and went to back into the garage, I saw the front cam wasn't working on the surround, and then tried the front cam and confirmed it was blank. This morning same...
  2. Tried a USB CD drive, doesn't work ;)

Playing CDs has come up a few times on here, and I always wondered if a USB CD Drive could be plugged into the USB and work, Kind of like plugging in an MP3 player or even just a USB thumb drive with music on it. Well, I just got a DVD/CD RW drive because my oldest is going into music theater...
  3. Reminder to check even new drain plug o rings!

I've done three or four oil changes on my bronco so far, never replaced the drain plug even though it's recommended. Finally ordered three new drain plugs and used one of the new ones on my recent oil change a week or so back. Came out the next day only to find oil under the bronco when I've...
  4. Used car dealer lying about manual transmission?

Saw this ad for a 2022 Big Bend with the seven speed manual, and the dealer is saying that you can’t order one, but according to the Ford builder website, you can totally order a four-door Big Bend with the manual just like this one they are advertising, but only with the four-cylinder. Can...
  5. Topless in the Snow Pics!

Anybody else like going topless in the snow and cold?
  6. My cheap DIY door storage!

Parts: 8 shelf brackets 1x3/4 strip of wood Pipe insulation The shelf brackets were the most expensive part, they were around five bucks each at Walmart. I just put a chunk of wood on the end of each bracket to hold the bottom of the door in place, then mounted the brackets on the wall with...
  7. Anybody leave their Bronco in the rain with no top?

I had an '07 Wrangler JKUX, in Florida, for 4 years. I almost never had the top or doors on, and while I had a cab cover, there were times that I just didn't get to it in time and it got poured on. I'm talking FL torrential downpour with no top at all. Cloth seats, I had removed the carpet and...
  8. EDIT: Did my dealer rip off my insurance, and I, and install non-Ford modular bumper?!?!?!

NEW INFO: I had a cheap modular bumper on and hit a deer. 6 months ago, the dealer repaired it and included the real modular bumper. I had to par a bit more than my deductible, but that was what was on the invoice and myself, the dealer, and the insurance all agreed to it. Last weekend I...
  9. Will K&N High Flow Air Filter increase turbo whistle?

I've searched and can't find a good answer - will switching to a K&N high flow air filter increase the turbo whistle, or do I need to go CAI? If I'm driving a twin turbo and not a V8, I might as well get to hear the turbos. I don't want to spend the money on a CAI (but will if I have to) and...
  10. Lowest tire pressure to limp 30 feet (Stock Sasquatch)!

Need to lower my Bronco a few inches to back into the garage to hoist the roof off and store it. Wondering what the lowest tire pressure I can go to as it will only be to back it in ('I'm guessing 5-10 PSI) . Really only need to lower the rear, the bronco fits stock but I have a half rack on the...
  11. Hoist vs Winch for Hardtop Lifting

I've been wanting to get an automated lifting device for the Bronco. Last year I just used ratchet straps in the rafters, and ratcheted it all the way up, but now the ceiling is finished and that is really a pain, especially to lower. The 2 options I'm considering are a celling mounted hoist...
  12. Does anyone have Red Rock Door Hanger Brackets?

Does anyone have Red Rock Door Hanger Brackets? And if so, how do you like them? Thinking about them, the 2 things I don't like is instead of having an upper pin, you have to put a bolt in after putting the door on. I also like the brackets that hold two doors per bracket because they'll take up...
  13. Question for Manual Owners concerning FOB

My Auto won't let me shift out of park if it doesn't detect the FOB. Kind of useful if my wife drops me off at the airport and tries to drive away but I have the FOB ;) Just curious, has any manual owner tried to drive away without the FOB in their pocket? I wonder if it lets you go, or if it...
  14. Any RGB headlights better than factory LEDs?

I'm sure they would be better than the Halogens, but are any of the RGB LEDs better than the OEM without blinding everyone? Thinking about switching, but if I'm going to sacrifice quality I'll stick with OEM.
  15. PSA - Don't use ratchet straps to lift and store the hard top!

Back over the summer, I wanted to take the top off, and I thought I had a great idea to use ratchet straps hooked to the rear 1/4 rack I have. Everything went super well, my garage is not finished so I just wrapped the straps around the rafters, hoisted the top, and off I went... ...until...
  16. Looking for upper mirror cowl, can't find it (wrong part number)

I need to order another upper mirror cowl. The part number on the actual part is M2DB-17E730-AB. Can anybody help locate one, did they change the part number or something? I can't believe it doesn't at least show up in a google search or something. TIA :)
  17. How do I run a thick cable from windshield light bar into engine bay?

I’m installing an emergency light bar and need to run a very thick cable from the top of the windshield into the engine bay. I was hoping to just run it down the windshield and under the hood, but it’s way too thick for that. The cable has two thick wires for power and ground, I’d say 10 to 12...
  18. Can someone provide modular bumper parking sensor locations and measurements

I'm going to swap my capable bumper with parking sensors for a modular without them soon, and will need to drill the modular for the sensors. Can someone provide some pics of the locations and measurements from the sides and top of the bumper? TIA! ;)
  19. How do I drill modular bumper for parking sensors?

I have a modular bumper without parking sensor holes, but I have parking sensors. Anyone have any tips on drilling the modular? I think I read on here that someone used a step drill, and the holes should be exactly 1 inch. I do have the bezels for the modular to swap my sensors into.
  20. Removing hardtop first time, surprise help with wire harness

One thing I'm terrible at is removing wire harnesses. I don't know why, but I break a lot of them even though I'm being gentle. So, when trying to remove the hardtop wire harness, I was being very gentle, but couldn't get it. I looked up some videos on removing the top, and the first I saw...
