Didnāt someone report on another thread that these springs made the ride harsh? I believe these were recommended for those with heavy bumpers and or winches to regain the lost height and put the shocks back into the āride zoneā.
if your concerned with retaining the Hoss 3.0 Fox Shock ride quality you might want to take a look at the weight of those tires, they are really heavy tires >80 lbs. The shocks are not valved for tires that heavy, thatās why so many people go with the KO2ās when they go to 37ās because there the...
If itās higher in the front after the lift maybe it would be better to leave off the perch collar in front, that should also take care of the stiffer ride, that perch collar doesnāt look like it is very big so eliminating it should make it just a bit lower in front but not as much of a take as...
Why on earth would it rub on stock wheels and tires when it didnāt rub pre-lift? Something doesnāt add up lifting it shouldnāt cause rubbing or require trimming with stock wheels/tires? Isnāt the whole point of lifting is to gain clearance?
More like a Mini Raptor, the Wildtrack would still be running 35ās and same height just the upgrade from the current Hoss 3.0 Fox IBP shocks to the live valve, the Badlands gets additional lift, 37ās, and upgraded shocks, maybe a new Ford Performance shock with the additional lift, you know...
Iāve been debating this same thing, Iām sticking with 35ās itās just too much performance loss for me (braking, MPG, components, etc.) that and being I wonāt likely be wheeling in anything that requires the extra clearance it just doesnāt make sense for my use. They do look good though.
This doesnāt really make much sense to me, I thought the BL is the Crawler version, live valve suspension is not really needed in slow crawling applications, live valve would be better suited on the Wildtrack that was supposed to be the high speed Baja type terrain rig.
I thing they should put...
I figured it was the pic, Iām wondering how much rake it will have leaving the perch collar off the front, it looks pretty small likely what adds the .25ā of the lift.
To my eye it looks to be a tad bit higher in front, could be my eyes or the picture angle bit if it is indeed a bit higher in front I wonder what the outcome would be if you left out the small spring perch. I also like a bit of rake so I can put a load in the back and not be squatting, I donāt...
Can someone take a picture of the bottom side of one of the spacers, Iām curious if they have corrected the orientation of recesses where the bolt head goes in, Iāve seen pictures of them split because they had one of the hex points to the outside causing it to have very little material between...
