Mine is totally stock, badlands 33s. My axle plug welds look like complete garbage. Practically zero penetration on 4 of the welds. Do I just reach out to my saleman with these pics? I am not even totally sure who to contact.
Toe can be done at home, super easy and less than 100$ in equipment to do a very good job. Camber is a little more challenging, but can still be done with a camber gauge. Castor is tricky though and basically requires castor slip plates and a very good camber gauge.
I have always done my...
Anyone have a recommendation for a salesman/dealership to place a Ranger Raptor Order? I am looking for somewhere who will do MSRP. Robinson Bros and Hollingsworth both would do bronco orders at MSRP but will not do a Ranger Raptor order at MSRP.
Are there any other tire that competes in this ~35 x <11.5 x R17 Size? I really like the narrow look but these are the only tire I have found this tall and this narrow.
You did what?!? You are asking an outdated simple word generating chat bot AI about what tires and wheels to put on your 40K+ new vehicle? Take it to an offroad specialist shop if you have this little experience.
For the sake of haveing all the info in one place, what other options for calibration are released? What other options are there than Whipple, JB4, and Ford Performance?
The torque on the one side axle tube during TTA is entirely due to the brakes applied on that side. It is a sum of the "drag" tires traction multiplied by the radius. Adding that torque plus the engine torque after the trans, transfer and diff reduction.
Doing worst case ("drag" tire full...
I was able to test this. It honestly worked pretty well, and was exactly what I was envisioning. The instructions need some corrections and updates, and I have not figured out a clean way to balance the top in this setup. It is so rear heavy with the rear glass up that the top rocks back.
Im willing to bet, that 98% of all bronco winch usage ever could safely be done with a 5000lb winch.
OP seems to realize this, and this seems like a well planned setup. This setup is not elastic between the Bronco and the box. With no stored energy in that section of line, the winch...
That seems pretty unreasonable. From what I can tell online, it uses the same mounting as the regular broncos. And Thats about 25$ parts and available next day because I popped one of my flares off and needed new clips.
For the front or rear? For the fronts you should be able to remove the nut and then a good tap with a db mallet on the hinge location should pop it off.
any part store should be able to rent the puller, but in my experience I havenever needed one.
These aren’t even comparable? Have you actually watched that video and break down?
The winch box will act significantly more like a winch line damper and much less like a sheared hitchball.
