I just looked them up icon is 18mm and Ford performance is 16mm. You think the 3.0 rack will fail before the 18mm Icon tie rod?

I don't think I will run Portals but anything is possible and I already bought Icon tie rods as a spare.

I reached out to Turn off road today and they told me their tie rods do work with the Hoss 3.0 steering rack but you have to shim them, so that's good.

So forget the portals, if one was to just run some beefy 37x13.50r17 tires with like 17x9 -12mm offset wheels and a Dobinson MRR or any other lift kit. If you wanted to upgrade you gear ratio would you choose the 5.13 or 5.38 gear ratio? Stock setup is 4.7 with Sasquatch.

The original question wasn't whether Hoss 3.0 could be run with portals but more so whether it could be run with the steering tie rods that Turn Off Road actually makes that's all. well it was true they did have the tie rods and that was their only steering upgrade, I don't think that's good enough but whatever.

Turn Offroad makes portals but besides the tie rods they got they don't do anything else to improve steering, I guess it's up to you to figure that out. Maybe they will do something in the future, I just think that 74weld rack is so damn expensive almost 6k.
